My Subaru 4wd acted as if I just shut off the key. I got juice to the distributer but not out of it. I'm not a mechanic, But it seems the pickup coil is the problem. This thing new is like $400...Anyone know where to get a used one? Any ideas what else to look at? I need help here. ...

I just finished changing my plugs on my 4-cyl. 2001 Legacy L. I had an annoying problem that I never saw on the internet. I tried to read all I could find on the internet, to be prepared, but something new always seems to happen.

The strut for the right rear wheel of m 1999 OBwagon broke after only 160,000 miles! The rattle finally penetrated my brain and made me realize that something was wrong and sent me to my mechanic. He replaced both left and right rear struts, bleeding the brakes, etc.

I have a ’00 Legacy GT and changed both oxygen sensors after getting a Check engine code P0420 (i think) for oxygen sensors. Within a week the check engine light is back- same code. Why would new sensors, fore and aft not keep that "check engine" light off?
