auto off dome light?17 May 2009 07:54 GMT12
More than once the dome light in my WRX was accidentally left on and almost
killed my battery.
Is there a way to modify it so that the dome light turns off after, say, 15
minutes? Or replace the bulb with a LED-based light?

How important is a trans oil cooler? The new radiator was such a bargain
because the inlet & outlet for the trans cooler are blocked/damaged.
I went to AUtoZoine and got a 5/16" brake line to bypass the cooler just
so I can start the car and check the real repair, which was the ...

The FM channels on my 05 Impreza wagon radio have finally given up, and
giving it a whack no longer fixes the intermittant.  Out of curiosity I
asked the local dealer what a new radio would cost, expecting about $200.
They said they had never ordered one before, because the price ...

I have a 1998 Forester with 275000 miles which had developed a rough idle.
Since there were over 80k miles on the plugs and wires, we changed them.
After we changed the plugs and wires and we are still getting a CEL code,

For the first time in over ten years, I'm in the market for a new car.  I've
settled on the Outback 2.5i Ltd, for which the Subaru website reports a
suggested base price of $28,295.
For my previous purchase, a Toyota Camry, I used a program run by the AAA,

Had the wagon 6 weeks and still getting used to the quirks of Subaru's. Its
done 96000km and had the clutch replaced (only because of a rear main oil
leak) according to the Sube dealer, under warranty, a couple of months
before I got it.

I expected new fluid to make things feel much more solid.  Not so.  In
