Hachi.... Thinking of getting a Corolla FX, and scavaging my beloved Hachiroku for whatever parts will fit (dash panels, suspension bits, 4A-GE, etc...) Want to make an FX16-GTS. Have a load of parts already.

Most car seats are uncomfortable for me because my back is sensitive to pressure points. Hence my question: which Subaru has the most comfortable driver's seat? Thanks.

I've never driven an AWD vehicle but am considering the 2010 Legacy. Today I wondered if torquesteer is an issue?

Sorry... these were meant for the Toyota group. There's enough BS in there to cover the entire internet. Once in a while, we talk about cars. Not often...

| {BS} No More Acorns everywhere!?!?! | 15 Sep 2009 16:18 GMT | 1 |
A vote has passed in Congress to end funding to ACORN's housing division, the biggest recipient of funds for the agency. Couple this with the loss of the Census, and it looks like there won't be many Mighty Oaks any time too soon.

I'd be grateful for any sage advice on a long standing brake puzzler. I can barely recall the last time I was happy with my brakes on this frigin vehicle. :-) My 140k mile 01 Outback has warped its rotors again, and has had lousy braking performance since about a month after

| STI vs the warrenty | 13 Sep 2009 05:56 GMT | 22 |
Buying a brand car and expecting the warrenty to work can be fun. Abusing the car then expecting the warrenty to kick in is often unrealistic. I have seen Subaru repair cars that are obviously abused as a good

Curious if anyone's used the dry ice technique for paintless dent or ding removal. Does it work? And does it damage Subaru clearcoat? Thanks!

| Tires | 09 Sep 2009 15:33 GMT | 2 |
GoodYear Comfortread tires on my 2001 Forester are nearing the end of their life. The car rocks and shakes - dealer told me that the tires are the cause. Those tires were installed at 60K miles (3 years ago) - now the car has 95K on it. But those tires are rated for 80K, I think. ...

| Forester Security System Malfunction | 09 Sep 2009 13:18 GMT | 3 |
2002 Forester S Premium Security system and keyless entry is not working right. I've changed the battery in both remotes so that isn't the problem. Occasionally, for S&G, I use the transmitter and it works. Sometimes, it
