| WRX trunk space | 30 Nov 2009 13:52 GMT | 2 |
I'm looking into possibly buying an 05 to 07 WRX sedan or wagon. I had wanted a wagon for utility, but I like the look of the sedan more. The real need for utility is to transport five gallon buckets. I often need to transport four of the five gallon buckets at a time. If this

| Is Liberty Mutual any good? | 30 Nov 2009 03:59 GMT | 1 |
I keep getting these enticing offered from Subaru and Liberty Mutual to change my auto policy over to them. Are they any good? I have had bad luck with other insurers and am a bit antsy to switch from the one I finally like to a new provider.

| HOLD THE WD 40!!! | 25 Nov 2009 00:35 GMT | 7 |
Two posts recommending WD40. WD40 is not a lubricant; in fact, over time WD40 can remove lubricants! This stuff is a million times better: GM rust penetrant and inhibitor heat valve lubricant #1052627.

| MIsfiring 1997 Outback | 24 Nov 2009 00:31 GMT | 2 |
Our 1997 Outback, 2.5L twincam, has started throwing up "check engine" lights with the error codes just saying it has detected misfiring in cylinders 2 and 4. No further clues as to cause of misfire. When it is driven there are occasions when indeed it seems to be weak, but if I ...

| Hatch latch fixed -- rip-off avoided | 23 Nov 2009 23:47 GMT | 5 |
My 1999 Outback had a sticky latch on the hatch that has bothered me for years. Fairly frequenty I could not open the hatch normally without ripping out the upholstery and spraying WD40 blindly onto the latch mechanism.

| 2000 subaru driver side control panel | 21 Nov 2009 01:10 GMT | 3 |
I have a 2000 subaru (legacy outback). The power window switch on the driver side is acting up. The window can go down normally. However I have to pull up really hard to make it go up. It seems to me that the switch contact is bad. Is it easy to disassemble the driver side

I've lived with this problem for years, but have finally gotten fed up with it. My 95 legacy is leaking fuel vapor somewhere, and I can't figure out where. If I fill it much past 3/4 tank, then take a left turn with any

| 2007 Impreza stops for no reason | 18 Nov 2009 16:46 GMT | 7 |
Driving along the highway and the car just stops for no known reason. It happened three times on a long trip recently. Had cruise control turned on at the time but this might be just a red herring. Can put it into neutral while still moving and turn the key and it restarts. ...

| Wheel falls off stalling 1998 Subaru Outback | 15 Nov 2009 11:27 GMT | 7 |
First of all, thanks SO much for all the thoughtful ideas and suggestions on my original posted issue. I am game to try any mechanical work myself (grew up helping dad hook mufflers up with coat hangers, etc.). The hubby found an MAF on eBay for $25. But before we

I did my timing belt this weekend and had surprisingly few problems. I used the article at endwrench in the archives section. It's a four page article called 2.2 Liter Single Overhead Cam Timing Belt Replacement. However, I have a few little tricks to share that I have
