01 Camry Rear Brake "Adjustment"30 Nov 2004 20:13 GMT7
Earlier this year I had posted to this group inquiring about adjusting
my rear brakes as it seems the pedal has to travel too far in order to
bring the car to a complete stop.  At the time the vehicle had 36,000
miles so I was pretty confident the front discs and rear drums didn't
Driver's side Mirror 03 Camry30 Nov 2004 19:34 GMT2
Where is the best price on a driver's side mirror for an 03 Camry.
Also can you get them in colors or do they have to be painted?
Thanks,
Steve
'03 V6 Fuel Filter30 Nov 2004 19:15 GMT3
My '92 and my '98 V6 Camrys had the fuel filter mounted on the inner wall just
back of the left front strut tower.
My '03 must have it somewhere else. I have looked and looked, but short of
putting it on a lift, can't find it; where is it? Anybody know?
00 Camry Vibrating when on the highway30 Nov 2004 18:42 GMT1
I was traveling on a straight path yesterday during a downpour in a
2000 LE Camry. It was raining heavily (cats and dogs) and while
cruising at about 70mph, the car started to vibrate. If you have a
cell phone and you put it on vibrate in your pocket, that was the

I have 1994 Camry LE 4Cyl and121K mileage.   I am in California and
Temperature is around 60-70F.
Yesterday I went to NAPA auto store for Engine Oil . One of the
representative suggested to use 20W-50 type as the car has higher mileage
Oil consumption increases when car driven fast.30 Nov 2004 16:45 GMT13
I have 2.2L 1996 Camry with 153000m. The car goes well though some power
loss is noticeable.
I noticed that engine oil level reduces if car is driven at speeds higher
than 75mph (for short distances) and I have to add more oil. Is this
95 fuel filter help30 Nov 2004 05:21 GMT5
trying to replace the fuel filter, I was able to initially free the bottom
compression nut, but it got to a point where it's about halfway out and it
really won't turn anymore...what's going on?  It should just unscrew,
right? Is there thread sealant on that one? Bought a flare nut ...
cd/cassette player 1681430 Nov 2004 01:54 GMT1
Anybody know what the 3rd connector is for on this unit? I'm looking for a
way to add an external input to this deck. The 10 pin and 6 pin connectors
are in use, but then there is a large connector. I haven't found any info
about this connector. I was guessing it was for a cd ...
Radio Static29 Nov 2004 13:36 GMT5
I get AM static on my 1998 Camry when it is moving. It doesn't always happen
and doesn't happen at all on FM. Any thoughts on how to diagnose and repair?
[Camry 99] Starter motor29 Nov 2004 10:41 GMT3
While I would normally say just about everything that "You can't win!"
today it sure was a day when I *did* win.
Story background follows. About a week ago, starting one morning I have
noticed that as soon as I turn the key in the ignition, the starter
Audio System Install & Wiring29 Nov 2004 06:22 GMT3
I have a 200 Toyota Camry, and I am installing a new MP3/CD player.
The process seems relatively simple, but I've discovered that the
connector that attatches to the rear of the factory CD/tape deck does
not match the plug on my simple wiring harness adapter (TA02 wiring
Problem with using reverse28 Nov 2004 21:29 GMT5
I have a 97 Camry and recently I noticed when I use Reverse I hear a
low rumbling sound from the rear of the car.  I'd appreciate any
feedback about what this might  be.  thanks
Biblical locust plague ,..or hopper-roadkill and your car!28 Nov 2004 21:20 GMT2
Did a trip from Dubbo area to Newcastle and the grasshoppers were real-bad.
Fortunately I had fitted some aluminium flyscreen wire to the trusty Camry.
The trick here is to make sure there is at least 2" gap in between the
screen and the radiator or AC condensor.
Steps to Replace Brake Light Switch28 Nov 2004 18:35 GMT3
Okay, I'm just going to be honest and admit up front I don't have
enough confidence to replace the brake light switch myself on my 92
Camry, with cruise.  I have combed through this newsgroup and have all
the symptoms pointing to the brake light switch.
Steering Wheel Groan26 Nov 2004 16:40 GMT6
With the coming of cold weather, my 2003 Camry V6 LE gets a groan in the
steering wheel, especially when turning hard as in parking. It sounds like an
wildebeest, with a low grunt and groan.
I suppose it will be necessary to remove the covers and put a little lube
