I think it's time to buy new tyres. To put it this way, if I get pulled over I get done a beaut. Anyways, given Australian conditions, which tyres are better value for money? Currently I've got Bridgestones (I bought the car with them)

Was giving the '96 Camry its 3000K oil and filter change and noticed the inside of the drivers front wheel was greasy,...uh oh,...split CV boot caught before too much happened in the way of damage. The other telltale sign was grease sprayed around the inside of the

I just bought a '90 Camry with 137,000 miles on it and checked the gas mileage and it's only 21 mpg highway. I'm curious if that's normal for a car this age or do I have some sort of gas leak. I had a guy check it a couple of weeks ago but he couldn't find one. Anyone have any other

| Why is there two drain plugs on a V6 (Camry) Transmission? | 23 Nov 2004 11:27 GMT | 1 |
I was changing brakes on my 97 ES300 and I noticed a drain plug in the transmission that I never used before. It reminds me of the differential drain plug you have on 4 cyl Camrys. It's located on the driver's side on the rear side of the transmission towards the firewall. You can ...

I have a 6cylinder '92 Toyota Camry LE. I just had a used engine put in it (original had 236,000 before it gave up the ghost). Used engine supposedly has about 95,000. I started having an occasional grinding noise upon turning key - would happen once, then maybe not again for

| O2 sensor vs. Air-Fuel sensor | 22 Nov 2004 05:26 GMT | 5 |
I was wondering if the auto techies here can tell me the difference between these two. Apparently, my Camry 1999 I-4 has a code of P135 when Check Engine light came on. I referred to the Camry Haynes manual and it reports heated O2 sensor but am wondering if both of these are ...

| synthetic oil change interval? | 21 Nov 2004 18:29 GMT | 42 |
My 99 Camry 2.2l is now out of warranty so I'm free to change the oil at whatever interval seems sensible. I'm in Canada, so I'm supposed to follow the severe service interval of 5000 km/3000 mi. Toyota goes out of their way (on their website) to say that one should follow the ...
