Hi,
I have a 97 Camry, 4 cylinder, 112K miles.  Recently while driving I heard
a strage popping type noise.  I thought a tire blew, but it didn't.
Actually it sounded kind of like metal, if that makes any sense.  Shortly

So i just moved to cincinnati ohio. I decided to take my car for an oil
change , and pressed on time walmart was the closest place. Since i couldnt
do it myself(new apt building rules) i figured $19 wouldnt kill me.
I drop my car off and stroll around wallmart for no more than 10 ...

Thanks for suggesting the distributor O-ring as the source of my oil
leak...Right On.  The seal was hard as a rock, brittle and worn. Oil
dripping everywhere. Was not too difficult a job, and removing the air
intake/filter assembly helped give room to get that bottom distributor

i have not noticed any brake fluid or any leaks. brake cyl fluid level
proper.
if it is worn front pads wouldn't there be a loud scapping noise from
the pad warning thingamajigs? rear pads repl about 30k miles ago.

Thanks to one and all for a good solution to my rear suspension knock.
I changed out the rubber bushings on the sway bar and that seems to have
done the trick.  As with others in this group, I can't believe the
difference this made ..and the old bushings didn't seems so worn.  But ...

I have a '93 V6 XLE. Just had struts replaced. EXPRESS TIRE did the work
and they replaced them with MONROE'S part #'s 71955-71958 (4 shocks).  On
