Fan switch problem in 99 Camry11 Dec 2004 19:00 GMT3
Again, a small problem in my 99 Camry: Fan switch for heater/AC appears to
work only when the switch is set at the highest (4) position.  If I set at
lower ones, there is no air blowing in.  It is difficult figure out what
part went wrong. Perhaps, the switch itself has gone bad.  ...

I have a creaking noise in my steering wheel in my 02 Camry. It happens
mostly when I turn the wheel while the car is stopped such as
manuevering out of a parking spot, or backing out of my garage, etc.
A local mechanic said it was probably the horn contacts. Said WD40

This 87 Camry wagon has 172,000 miles on it. the 4 cylinder engine still
runs well and has plenty of power. No smoke. Oil stays clean between the
4,000 mile oil/filter changes. Body is in great shape. Has run well with no
major problems and is still reliable but the problems are ...

Greetings from Sydney, Australia,
I have had a recent problem with my Camry and have had to call upon the I

these extended warranties are only fit for toilet paper - I thought that
getting fuel makes 2004 run like crap for 25 miles or so09 Dec 2004 21:16 GMT6
Has anyone else experienced this? I have finally correlated this to getting

I really don't know how to present this to the dealer without sound like an
idiot, but it runs like crap...then after 25 miles, it idles ...

1991 4 cyl window fault09 Dec 2004 13:22 GMT3
The driver's side window stuck down.  All other windows function.
Is there a separate fuse for each window and if so where is it located.
This is one which gets most of the use so perchance it is mechanical
failure.

1999 Camry Check Engine Light08 Dec 2004 22:22 GMT6
My Camry has 87,000 miles and yesterday I went to the Toyota dealer and had
the timing belt changed. When I brought the car in the engine light was on.
The dealer said it was the fuel sensor and one of the two needed replacing.
I assume he meant O2 sensor. To replace one it was $412 ...
When to replace 96 Camry timing belt08 Dec 2004 22:20 GMT4
When I bought my 1996 Camry V6 new, I was told "replace the timing
belt at 60K miles." So I did, at 67K. Now I have 120K miles on the car
and was expecting to replace it again.
But when I was entering service information for a recent 120K-mile oil
Stiff gas pedal' (99 Camry)08 Dec 2004 22:17 GMT5
I have a 99 Camry with 97000 miles.  Recently, the gas pedal is getting
stiff particularly when it had a stop for a while.  Because the pedal needs
some push, sometimes it unnecessarily starts too hard. Is this something
serious or something easily repaired?  Any input would be ...

Well, replaced distributor O-ring, valve cover gasket, and still have an
oil slick on the back side of my engine block, looks like it's coming from
2 areas: near where the intake manifold attaches to the head (but there's
no oil chambers there, right?), and on the rear (cyl #4)just ...
