Rapid cooling on downhill - thermostat problem?04 Mar 2005 20:49 GMT7
1991 Camry DX, 4cyl, 97K, auto
when I drive down the hills on the way to/from LA (Grapevine), the engine
temperature goes low, and it appears in the same level as the car just
started in morning. It happens in the summer too. In the winter it gets so

OK,
I had the check engine light come on in my 02 with 20k miles.  The Camry
is under warranty, so I took her to the dealer.  The diagnostic showed
two parts bad (MAF and AF sensors).  They replaced one and had to order

1990 Camry auto idles at 500rpm when car is warmed up.  Makes the car shake
a little.  Should this be looked after and what can be done?  Thanks
P.S.  Thanks for the advice for the srtuts.  I just got this camry...  might

The power steering on my '95 Camry was squealing a few times,  and now it's
hard to turn. When the weather warms up, after awhile it's easy again, but
only till it gets cold again. Would that be just the belt needing to be
tightened?

Want to replace radio cassette player. Have problems finding a wire harness
for 85 model, only seen harness for 1988 upwards. Don't want to cut cables.
Found a wiring diagram for 85 model and unfortunately the the wire colours
are not the same as mine. Not sure which wire is ...

If you ever have a 99 Camry that has a water pump go out, run, cry, get the
hell out of there.  I've never seen anything that hard to replace in my
whole life, but I did it and knock on wood it's still working.
