Will a GPS receiver work on the dashboard of a 1997 Camry?
I am considering buying a satellite navigation set for a PDA, but i hear
some stories of gps receivers not working behind coated windshields. Anyone
has experiences with this?

Does anyone please have any ideas on this?
My step daughter has a 95 Camry, with the 5SFE engine, it will start easily,
then occasionaly cut out, (usually when idling at lights etc) and not start.
Then after leaving it awhile it seems to start easily again.

When the car is warm and in drive at the stoplight, the car shakes a little.
I had the computer reset and the mechanic said he can manually adjust the
idle a 100-200 rpms or so until the shaking goes away.
The car runs great otherwise.

Two days ago the check engine indicator lit up on my 01 Camry w/47,000
miles.  Went to AutoZone this morning and the code received was P0446
which translates to "Evarorative Emission Control System Vent Control
Circuit Malfunction."

Camry 92, 307,000km.
Today, the dealer changed a seal that was leaking a little bit of oil, the
bill shows "2 liters of ATF oil".
After driving for a minute or so, I see two things:

Help, can someone tell me if the air filter can be replaced without
going to the dealer.  If yes where is the filter located.
The cabin air filter I have no problem with.

Anybody out there know how to fix the problem with a "rocking chair" on
the driver's side? Every corner i take, i feel an annoying sideway

I have a 96 Camry LE 4cyl with a nasty oil leak that appeared to be
coming from the corner of the pan under the crank.  Changed the pan
gasket and dome gasket, still leaking.  Took the timing cover apart
last night and changed the cam gasket.  Still leaking.  I'm thinking

makes a noise in the rear when going over bumps. It is a little hard
to describe the noise. I might call it a clunk or thump-somebody else

reference as to whether the new V6 Camry's require premium gas.

Just purchased a 1992 Camry LE. It has a factory installed security system
with keyless entry.  The manual does not explain how to put this system into
valet mode. Could anyone please explain how I can do this?

Any reason to avoid a mid 90's Toy with a V6 engine?
Something about bad head gaskets??
This issue was brought up by a dealer who probably only had 4 cyl cars
to sell <g>.

Well, Napa finally has an after-market air filter and cabin air filter
out now for my '03 4-cylinder.
Up until now, nobody locally had aftermarkets and the Toyota dealer
charged $22 for the air filter one last time I looked vs. $12 at Napa
