1990 Camry serpentine belt replacement30 Jun 2005 16:06 GMT2
Hello!  My son's 1990 V6 Camry is stranded with a broken serpentine
belt.  The manual has disappeared.  Any tips on what it takes to put in
a new one?
Thanks!

Trim Gasket Oozing (squishing if you prefer) Out! - 01 Highlander
I have an 01 Highlander that has a chronic problem of the gasket on
the rear hatch door oozing out after about a year. This is the gasket
between the hatch door and the plastic trim above the license plate.

Camry transmission29 Jun 2005 19:23 GMT2
I own 2003 camry 4 cyl, automatic.   Problem: I brought car into
dealer for an inspection. After leaving dealer I noticed while driving
on the parkway an abnormal deceleration.  I mean when I take my foot
off the pedal, the car slows down, I think a little too quickly.
Rear Drums on '96 Camry DX 235,000 MIles29 Jun 2005 03:08 GMT2
I recently put in a timing belt, water pump, 2 new axles, oil pump
assembly and now front disc brakes - I did this at around 220,000
miles. Total investment of around 1400.00 so far. But I figured all
routine maintenance I probabaly got a way with for a while so I took a

Is There An Easy Way To Disable Car Alarm in 96 Camry?29 Jun 2005 01:12 GMT1
I hate my car alarm with a passion.  The thing has a mind of it's own,
deciding to just go off when i open my door even though I never arm the
thing.  I've tried moving the toggle switch to off, but eventually, it
will just go off at random, and I have to deal with the embarrassing
2005 Camry LE Rear Thumping Noise29 Jun 2005 00:09 GMT3
I noticed that I get a soft pounding sound from the rear cabin whenever
driving on a bump and rough surfaces.  Brought the car to the dealer to
check (Hamer-Toyota, Mission Hills CA).  Got the car back with note "Cannot
duplicate customer complaint".  They said they found nothing ...
05 camry Rear End Thump28 Jun 2005 00:37 GMT8
When I go over small bumps, especially at low speed, it seems that the rear
axle transmits too much of a "thump" into the cabin of the car. In this
regard, this car is noisier than the '95 Camry I traded. The new car has
about 2,700 miles. I intend to bring this to the dealer's ...

97 Camry I4 Timing Belt - and Water Pump?26 Jun 2005 21:35 GMT2
78K miles.  Heard that water pumps are often replaced at the same time as
the timing belt because the work to get the belt out exposes the pump for
easier replacement.  My question is: even so, is it really necessary to
replace the pump?  Do they fail frequently enough to justify ...
1986 Camry LE engine noise/alternator26 Jun 2005 03:32 GMT5
Starting off, this Camry is an awesome car, and it gets better ga
mileage then my 96 Civic I had before it.
I just recently replaced the alternator in this car, and knowing th
car's history, that was the forth (including the original) in abou

new 2005 Camry with very BAD gas milage24 Jun 2005 22:52 GMT29
I have it for 5 months now. Everytime I add gas I do the calculation and it
always around 21.9 miles/gallon right from the first day I own it.
I drive it commute everyday and 1/3 of the route is on freeway. However it's
around 20-40 miles on freeway during heavy traffic.
