Flushing the cooling system in a 91 Camry24 Jul 2005 13:29 GMT1
According to the manual, there is a drain plug at the back of the head that
can be opened in order to flush out the old coolant.  I've looked everywhere
but can't seem to find anything.  Even if I could the EFI unit is in the way
and is too complex to remove.  Any ideas around this?
Turn signals and 4-way flashers totally dead23 Jul 2005 19:31 GMT2
I just had the battery and alternator replaced on my 97 Camry, and now
the turn signals and 4-way flashers are totally dead.  They don't even
make the clicking noise.  Everything else electrical works, including
the dim filaments in the front and rear parking lights.
Cigarette lighter no longer works after plugging in air compressor23 Jul 2005 13:54 GMT4
I have a very strange electrical problem with a 1995 Toyota Camry. I bought
one of those heavy duty air compressors that can plug into the 12V cigarette
lighter receptacle. I plugged it into the cigarette ligher receptacle of my
Camry and about 3/4 of the way through filling the ...

Can't start 91 camry after dry tank20 Jul 2005 01:51 GMT3
I ran my 1991 camry gas tank dry to patch a hole in the gas tank so it
wouldn't spill all over and now it won't start again. I just have no ideas
whatsoever...yes i did put more gas in.
200,000 mi. and counting: '94 Camry19 Jul 2005 16:01 GMT15
Today she just turned over 200,000 miles.  I got her new in 1994--a Camry
LE 4-cylinder 2-door coupe, and put mostly highway miles on her.
She still has the old get-up-and-go; I had her up to 100 mi./hr. the other
day without strain, and she had plenty left to go.  There's a big ...
Front Brake Pads thickness19 Jul 2005 00:40 GMT2
Is anyone familiar with the thickness of new front brake pads on a Camry
2000?  i.e. what should they be when measured brand new? That should give me
an idea of percentage of use when checked afterwards. Thanks

toyota of hackensack sucks::STAY AWAY17 Jul 2005 15:18 GMT3
DON'T EVER CONSIDER THEIR DEALERSHIP as they are rude to the core.
Where will a customer be more embarassed and humiliated when he had
opted to buy a car, they make a big fuss and ca'nt honor their word on
anything. So cheap!!
98 Camry--EGR insufficient17 Jul 2005 06:48 GMT3
I have 98 Camry w/ 70k miles. CEL came on 2 days ago. Went to Auto Zon
for free diagnostic, which displayed "EGR Insufficiency."
The CEL came on immediately after a gas station attendant put i
premium when I had asked for regular. This may be a silly question, bu
Toyota Camry '98: Airconditioner Check17 Jul 2005 06:18 GMT3
I just found that the air-conditioner of my '98 Toyota Camry CE is not
working. I turned switch to COLD(blue), fan to HIGH and turned on the
AC switch. I could get the fan working fine, AC switch indicates ON,
air is blowing in through the vents, but not COLD.
2004 Camry Directional Signal16 Jul 2005 18:01 GMT1
Would you please let me know if you 2004 Camry owners have trouble
hearing the "clicking" sound of the turn signal inside of the car?  I
can not hear mine with minor road noise and a low radio volume, so I
frequently drive a long way after a shallow turn with the signal still
Replace OEM radio in '98 Camry?16 Jul 2005 15:50 GMT2
My radio went bad in my 1998 Camry so I found an identical one on eBay
for dirt cheap.  I assume the mounting harness and everything internal
in the Camry is the same and no replacement is needed.
How can I remove the plastic bezel around the radio and replace the
99 camry backup lights15 Jul 2005 22:58 GMT7
I recently installed a rear backup sensor warning system on the rear

After about a month the following happened.
One of the back up bulbs went out.  I also had the following on the
