I recently got my Toyota camry serviced for 60000 miles and Toyota auto dealer gave a good list of recommendations. I just would like know if anyone knows what the parts that are covered by Toyota for this model, any website ? will be great help.

1997 Camry 4 Automatic 107K miles The transmission shifts smoothly and is fine in every other way. But it is slow to downshift when accelerating and you must pretty much stomp it to force a downshift.

couple of suggestions from items discovered recently: When draining hot transmission fluid into a plastic drain pan, and dropping the drain plug - just use an inexpensive telescoping magnet tool to pick out the drain plug easily

Car starts... But when you hit the gas, you have to do it VERY gradually or it seems to cut off all fuel flow. I thought maybe a vacuum hose had come off, but they all seem to be fine. New air filter. Newish plug wires but definitely good.

1999 Camry LE, 4-cyl, made in Kentucky, Engine Light comes on, Code 0446 From reading the newsgroups, the first culprit is usually the gas cap. I replaced it, reset the check engine light, and then it came back on after 95 miles of highway driving.

Looking at buying a used rig. Noted that the oil dipstick had what appears to be a hard glazed on "varnish" of what appears to be burnt oil (dark brownish) all the way up the stick. My 20-year corolla and 25 year-old tercel, both have "clean" dipsticks.

Since purchasing my 99 Camry SIX cylinder in 1999, I have used regular unleaded gas, per the manual. The manual mentions how I could get "improved performance" using Premium gas. I stand to be corrected but, here in Canada, I believe the usual 3 grades of gas available are rated ...
