Replacing O2 sensor in 99 Camry19 Oct 2005 02:34 GMT17
Check engine light is on in my 99 Camry, and the car failed emissions
inspection.
I am told that it is an O2 sensor circuit malfunction (Bank 1 sensor 2)
Question: Is this the sensor under the hood, or the one in the exhaust

Ok, my '99 Camry just starting acting up. I still have the factory radio with a disc changer in the trunk. Recently when its hot outside the dash will heatup and I guess the deck gets too hot? The radio will turn on (i.e. - power on, change stations, etc.) but no sound will come ...
Camry Valve gasket 9517 Oct 2005 19:58 GMT6
How easy is it to change the valve gasket on 95 4 cyl camry  ? the
chilton manual does not have the right directions to open the cover.
how does it come off ? The chilton manual suggests removing bolts from
the top, which is not actually there in 95 model. Tia.
Burnt out brake light.  97 camry XLE17 Oct 2005 14:14 GMT4
Friday I noticed the taillight burnt lamp was on in the lower left
corner of the gauge cluster.  My center brake lamp (the one inside the
car on the rear deck) was burnt out.
After spending a few minutes figuring out how to pop the thing out,
Headlight17 Oct 2005 02:00 GMT5
My 94 Camry LE 4 cyl has 3 problems. I will describe all 3 in separate
threads so that I can track them easily.
First problem is that the left headlight (lower) does not work. The
upper one does work. I wonder if this is a DIY kinda of a job, i.e. to
Replacing compressor on a 94 Camry XLE16 Oct 2005 18:37 GMT5
I need to replace the compressor on my 1994 Camry XLE (V6) and the
price I've been quoted is pretty high.  I can't really anticipate what
the labor costs are, though I've checked around to get an estimate on
the new compressor itself.  I was wondering if this is the sort of
1996 Shift Lock Override16 Oct 2005 17:01 GMT2
I am considering the purchase of a 1996 Toyota Camry LE for my teenage
son.  I picked the car up from the dealership yesterday and am going to
let my mechanic look at it on Monday, Oct 16, 2005.  The vehicle seems
to be in great overall shape even though it has 112,000 miles on it.
`92 camry transmission troubles16 Oct 2005 06:08 GMT4
I recently bought a `92 camry with @ 225,000 miles on it,with the intention
of swinging a used trany in it.The person said it was shot & slips really
bad. I drove it home, but my feeling is that it doesn`t need a trany. Just
some attention. I didn`t feel any slippage,but a very early ...
P0401 Check Engine Light16 Oct 2005 00:40 GMT2
This is for all the people who might not be aware that Autozone will
read the engine scan and tell you the trouble for free of cost. This
way you can get a good idea whats wrong and then go to a dealer or a
mechanic. Otherwise an engine scan costs anywhere between $50 to $75.
2000 Camry drivers side door lock issue15 Oct 2005 06:28 GMT1
When I try to lock all doors from the master button on the drivers door
all doors in car will lock except the drivers side. I have to lock that
door individually by pushing the manual button.
Any ideas?

tranny, with 390000km on it on 401 heading warden in a traffic jam and it
was a very huge jam such that my car moved only a few inches each minute.

I feel stupid, and perhaps I'll feel worse when I get the answer.
Where's the oil filter located on the '93 Camry 4C?
Brake Pads on '93 Camry13 Oct 2005 17:58 GMT2
I'd like to hear from those with experience changing brake pads on a
'93 Camry.  How difficult is it?
Check Engine Light13 Oct 2005 14:31 GMT1
I have 97 Camry LE and the check engine light has come on. I think its
more than improperly closed gas tank because light keeps coming on and
off. This started after I had the oil changed. Does anyone know if that
can make a difference? (For example if some cap is not properly ...
Sudden poor mileage-2002 Camry13 Oct 2005 01:06 GMT8
Greets.
I keep fairly accurate mileage in a little logbook in the glovebox. On a
trip this summer, I was happy to be getting about 38mpg when I was going
cross country.
