I have an 89 camry always ran great, but the other night i lost

"Lights" sensor gone bad?30 Nov 2005 14:23 GMT1
I have a 1990 camry and the "lights" light is turned on in my dash. I
think it senses if a tail light goes out, but I replaced all of them so
I know the bulb is good and working. For some reason the light is still
on. I think I heard somewhere that the sensor goes bad after a while,
Check Engine Light again30 Nov 2005 04:49 GMT3
My check engine light is on.  My ³not a dealer² mechanic says that
the code(s) that he reads define one of two possible repairs bith
pricey.  He suggested that I see a dealer so that if the dealer guesses
wrong I will be pissed off at the dealer and not him.
Driver-side window30 Nov 2005 03:48 GMT8
The third and final problem with my 94 Camry LE 4 cyl is with the
driver side window. It is an automatic one. The glass rolls down pretty
fine, but while pulling up, comes to a stop before it shuts completely.
There remains a small gap approx. 2 cm. I observed that the glass while
Drain, or remove all tranny fluid29 Nov 2005 22:49 GMT5
I've got a '99 Auto XLE V6 with 150K km on it (90K miles). I bought
the car two years ago, and have no idea when/if the tranny fluid was
ever changed before. It's still slightly pink to look at. Should I
just ask the dealer to drain it and refill when I do my next couple of

Replace Head gasket on '97 camry29 Nov 2005 16:46 GMT5
My 97 Camry (4 cyl.) is leaking old form the head gasket. Car has ~100K
miles on it.  My mechanic
gave me a quote of $1,400 to repair this.  He says it is a lot of labor, but
the part  is cheap.

Is it difficult to replace Struts?28 Nov 2005 17:20 GMT5
Hi.  1993 Camry V6.  72k miles.  Ride seems to be getting
"harder"...especially on surface streets with patches, holes, cracks....
Seems to "fall into the holes"  harder than it used to.
Freeway driving is just fine.
Distributor O-Ring on 90 Camry?28 Nov 2005 11:10 GMT3
My 90 Camry is leaking oil at the distributor. I took out the distributor.
But I didn't see any obvious o-ring or gasket (on the Valve Cover side) that
can be replaced. The only thing I saw is a black soft thing (looks like an
o-ring) embedded in the middle of the shaft ( valve ...

I am repairing rusted fuel lines (feed and return) on an '88 camry with a
3S-FE engine and would like to by the line before I start to mess with the
rust. My problem is that I cannot get to the line with a caliper to measure
it without disturbing it.. Would anyone know the size of ...

2003 4 cyl Automatic Camry-ATF change? Coolant change?26 Nov 2005 11:54 GMT6
My son lost the book to his car, and we'd like to keep up with these items.
Does anyone know the factory schedule on them?
The car's got 60k miles now (bot used),

Chassis droning question25 Nov 2005 23:32 GMT16
I wanted to throw this one out there and see what others think.  I
have a FWD 4cyl camry which when the accelerator is pressed, it makes
a droning sound inside the cabin (i.e. a low frequency constant
vibration of the chassis often associated with bad tires).  When you
Camry question25 Nov 2005 21:15 GMT1
I understand that Hayward Toyota in San Francisco
is selling new automatic Camrys (2006 LE's) for $16,999.
They say they have about 20 of them, but color
selection is limited.
