95 Camry Front Brakes23 Feb 2006 01:14 GMT7
I have replaced front pads on other cars before. Am I going to have any
trouble replacing the pads on a 95 Camry? Is there anything I should know?
Any tricks? Anything I should really watch out for. Should this be done by a
real mechanic? Thanks.

I just got a quote from a Toyota service shop in town for $189.00 to
change the 6 spark plugs on my 1998 Camry V6. I thought Wow!
Is this normal?
And how normal is it that the shift lever gets corroded, I assume they
Tail Light/Brake Light Indicator22 Feb 2006 04:07 GMT4
In the last two days, my tail light/brake light indicator has come on
when I'm driving the car.  It doesn't come on when I start the car or
when I put my foot on the brake for the first time.  It's come on about
ten minutes or so after I've started driving and then stayed on for the
Roof Rack for Camry 200522 Feb 2006 01:41 GMT4
I am looking for a good value on a Camry 2005 roof rack (planning for
transporting a canoe).  In Canada the Sport Rack company provides a good
value on roof racks, but they do not provide one for Camry 2002 and forward.
Does anybody know a good online retailer for car racks?

My steering column is making a little noise when I turn the steering
column of my 1999 camry.  It only happens when I am stopped.  I told my
mechanic that can we oil and lube the steering column.  He said we
canot do that with a toyota camry 1999 its sealed.
94 camry front driver side axle tends to slip out of differential housing20 Feb 2006 17:28 GMT8
I replaced front driver side axle assembly of my 94 camry couple of
months ago. Recently I started to hear weired sounds from axle while
making sharp turns. Also the car would not stay in one lane, it started
deflecting towards left significantly. My mechanic says that axle is

started to spin (this was at very low speeds).  All the tires are matched

90 Camry Halfshaft Removal20 Feb 2006 06:48 GMT1
I have a 1990 Camry, four cylinder, automatic, made in the US.  I need to
replace the left half shaft.  It is the slide out type, not a bolt on.  I
disconnected everything, but cannot slide the inner splined shaft out of
the transaxle.  Autozone repair manual website (page 2 of 12 ...
Insufficient EGR20 Feb 2006 06:43 GMT1
My '98 Camry 4-Cyl has turned on the "Check Engine" light.  My scanner
says it is "Insufficient EGR."  I see there is an EGR Valve and an EGR
Vacuum Modulator, and a small pipe connecting the exhaust to the EGR Valve.
What is the best way to check what component is causing ...
1990 Camry Alternator - Amp question, and should I just replace the brushes?20 Feb 2006 00:33 GMT7
I am confused about which alternator to get to replace the one I have
in my V6 Wagon: 70amp or 80amp.
Or should I just replace the brushes in the one I have -- is it real
easy to do that?
Starting Problem - 96 Camry19 Feb 2006 04:26 GMT4
Got a 96 Camry with 240K that today refused to start for the first time.
Just repetitive clicking when you turn the key.  Battery still has full
voltage.
Thinking maybe it is the starter or ignition switch.
96 camry differential plug?18 Feb 2006 16:47 GMT13
I'll try changing my diff fluid myself next time I change my tranny
fluid.  Looks like I'll need some new tools to do it.
So, will the fill nut require a 17mm socket?  Confirming if this is the
right size.
Camry V6 2002 mileage17 Feb 2006 13:09 GMT5
I get about 15.5 mpg in mostly suburban driving during the winter and about
20 mpg. Isn't it a little too high? I am not very heavy on gas pedal.
I do my own oil change with 5w30, I change the air filter every 15 k and
inflate the tires to 30-31 psi
