Transmission repairs05 Feb 2006 22:38 GMT5
I have a 96 Tacoma, auto, 2wd, 86000 miles. I feel the transmission
slipping very slightly when when I do a very quick start. The fluid is
brownish but doesn't smell burnt. Any experience with the Transmission
Chains i.e.. Lee Miles, AAmco, etc.?

I read that the new 07 Camry will be out in early March. Is that true?
BTW, I am in Canada so I'd want to know when it will be available in
Canada.
Does anyone know how much it will be selling for?

93 camry just dies05 Feb 2006 21:13 GMT6
93 Camry, 4cyl., Auto. will run all day at idle or high revs in my
driveway. When you put it in gear and give it gas it will run 1 mile
and die. It starts back up and will run well enough to get home. It
appears to be running hot but is not indicated on the insturment panel.

92 Camry no reverse lights02 Feb 2006 22:33 GMT1
Just recently lost my reverse lights in my 1992 Camry V6 LE.
I have the little light on the dash indicating a bulb out and also
when I step on the brake the transmission reverse indicator lights up
in the dash.  Both bulbs appear to be o.k. so I'm suspecting a broken
90 Camry  -terrible hesitation & stuttering after rain or humid day01 Feb 2006 22:38 GMT16
I recently picked up a 90 Camry with only 118,000 miles.
The car seems to be in good shape, and runs well,  _except_ after a
rainy day or humid day.
Then  there is terrible stuttering and hesitation, especially
92 Camry Cruise Issue01 Feb 2006 21:49 GMT4
The cruise control in my 92 wagon finally died.  It was having intermittent
issues for the past three years but just gave up this weekend.
It would randomly disengage, the dash light would flash a few times then
stop working until the ignition was turned off and then back on.  This ...

I recently purchased a used car 1999 camry LE with 6900 miles on it. I

"Engine Sludge: It's no surprise that the Avalon, Camry and Sienna
engines built after 1996 are sludging up. The surprise is that the
cause or major contributing factor is now known. For some reason Toyota
need to find out what is the right ignition timing for a toyota camry V6 LE 01 Feb 2006 14:18 GMT4

smog it pass almost everything except for the timing ignition. The result
says that my timing ignition was malfunction because it was 14 BTCD. A family
friend that is a mechanic tried to adjusted it for me ...

Can anyone explain to me why it is that when I drain the oil from my

litres and it was previously showing as "full" on the dipstick?
This has happened before.  Is there some other tube or plug which needs
Driver's side view mirror ripped out...01 Feb 2006 06:13 GMT2
I already got the replacement, my question is, are there any
do-it-yourself sites that would show me how to install the new mirror.
Or, if anyone would specifically know if I need to detach the inside
door panel.  Its a '92 Camry LE (US build).
