I have 2000 Toyota Carmy CE (55000 miles), I had tranmission flushed at
38000 miles (the work was done using T-tech machine which actually
changed nearly most of the fluid in the system). At 53000 miles when I

replacing inner tie rod without pulling rack?07 Mar 2006 00:12 GMT1
Is this possible on a 93 V6 Camry XLE?  My concern here is access
clearance to that end of the tie rod with a wrench and pliers to remove
the rod and boot while the rack remains untouched in the car.  Or is
there at least some tool to aid in this?

First post.  I have an 04 Camry and after braking hard, the airbag
light is on and the passenger airbag light shows its off.  The dealer
wants $89 to look at it.  Is there a way to reset it without that?

ideas on struts04 Mar 2006 01:42 GMT17

There is a rattle in the right front of my car.  Can I change the right

strange sound in front wheel well area04 Mar 2006 01:40 GMT11
In my '99 camry, if I listen carefully while driving, I can hear a
strange noise occasionally in the front right side wheel well area.
To describe the sound - sounds like a mouse is living in the wheel well
and is moving around.  Doesn't happen continuously, happens whether or
water pump issue in Camry 2000 LE04 Mar 2006 01:32 GMT6
When my wife drove that car it suddenly stopped working by exuding yellow
water (I guess it was coolant). Towed to dealer and dealer said the water
pump was broken and also damaged the timing belt. In our normal drive there
is no any symptom that water pump is dying or finding ...
question about struts: 97-01 camry04 Mar 2006 01:27 GMT7
What exactly is the problem with the 97-01 generation of camry struts?
Are these McPherson struts?  How could they be bad?  Were they
incorrectly installed?  Was it a bad batch?
double-tipped spark plugs04 Mar 2006 01:02 GMT6
I noticed the camry manual says to use twin-ground, platinum-tipped
spark plugs.
Is there a significant difference in performance between using, say,
Bosch (Pep Boys brand) vs. the original NGKs?
1999 Camry LE - Air Problem03 Mar 2006 23:33 GMT5
I have a 1999 Toyota Camry LE (4 cyl) and recently noticed that when I
turn on the air (hot or cold), unless the knob is in slot 3 or 4, there
is no air coming out of the vents.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be wrong.

Finally got a new used car (found it from carsdirect.com; bought it
from a dealership).  Will have the engine thoroughly inspected by a

When the engine is cold, it revs up to 2000 rpm, then falls down to say
