| 1999 Camry remote trunk release broke. | 25 Apr 2006 12:27 GMT | 1 |
My 1999 Camry has a remote trunk release that does not work. The only way I can open the trunk is by using the key. I tried both remotes. The lever next to the gas cap lid by the front seat does not open it either. Any troubleshooting hints?

I have a 2000 camry, 70K miles. With AC or heater ON, I get air from vents on feet, defrost, and front vents on the side. No air blows from the front vents in the middle. It does not matter which option I choose on the vent mode switch (Face,

I just bought 9 months ago a used 96 Camry. I am student and wanted something to last a few years. This was a spur of the moment purchase DON'T EVEN DO BY THE WAY, and I did not have a mechanic look at it. I have been smelling oil after I drove the car, and decided to have it

| Ignition problems | 23 Apr 2006 12:51 GMT | 1 |
I've got a 92 camry 4 cylinder, there's no spark, we took the cap off and the rotor turns when cranked, so it's not the timing belt, but the rotor won't come off, shouldn't it come off pretty easily. There are 2 plugs going to the distributor, and don't know which one is the pickup ...

| Hybrid battery life ? | 23 Apr 2006 06:27 GMT | 5 |
Does anyone know what the life expectancy of the battery(ies) is ? And if it is something less than 10 years (which I assume it is) how much are they to replace ? I know it is cheaper to buy the gasoline only version but ...oh well... call me tree hugger :-)

| 2006 Solara - rear window visability | 22 Apr 2006 21:05 GMT | 3 |
I really like the car, but can not seem to be able to get a good look out the rear window. I can buy a 2006 auto w/ moonroof, spoiler, and carpet/cargo for 19,068.00 a great price, but I can't see out the freaking rear window. Any owners care to comment? I gottta decide today.

| Where can I get a schrader fitting for the fuel line? | 22 Apr 2006 18:04 GMT | 4 |
I have a fuel pressure tester that has both large and small schrader valve connectors. I need to check what is happening with the fuel pressure between the fuel rail and the fuel filter on a 1988 Camry 4-cyl. At Pep Boys I can get two 5/16 to 1/8 MPT barb fittings

| Rough idle and stalling at idle on my 95 Camry (2.2) | 22 Apr 2006 16:23 GMT | 13 |
Once the car has warmed up, I'm occasionally getting a rough idle and sometimes it even stalls out. When I ran a diagnostic, I get no code on the check engine light but I am getting a 64 code off of the o/d light. The manual says this is a defective lock-up selenoid, open in wiring

| noisy valves.. still | 22 Apr 2006 08:39 GMT | 3 |
Same topic as earlier, 1990 camry, 4cylinder, valve lash waay out of spec. I shimmed all of my valves, and it sounds much better, but there is still a definite metallic rattle in the top of the engine. I've checked my valve clearance 3 times, and inspected the timing belt. I

I have a toyota camry '89. My front passenger door has been stuck in the locked position for 3-4 weeks now. I read about the recall problem on some relay which may cause the doors to be stuck and not open. But when I took it to the dealership, they showed me a bill for $550. I
