I posted a while back about a problem with my ac on my 2002 Camry. At the time the ac light would flash off and on and I could get the ac working again by repeatedly flicking the fan off and on. I know-that wasn't a fix but it got me by:)

One more question: I need to replace the thermostat on a 1988 Camry 4-cyl. Took the old thermo to Pep Boys, and they looked it up on the computer. They brought out a Stant thermo..... but although the flange OD was correct, it was about 1 1/2 to 2 in long (deep)...about

I have a 1990 DX with the 3SFE engine. It has a lot of valvetrain noise, so I removed the valve cover and everything looks ok (not broken). I checked the valve clearance and that's where I have my question. How much pressure should I use to try to get the feeler

Asked about this in previous post... know a little bit more about it now. Its an 88 Camry wagon with 4-cyl engine. After about ten minutes of driving the engine loses power. It is not really cutting off/dying, but it will get to where all you can do is walking speed.

To lock or unlock doors, I have to hold the button for several seconds or until it eventually works. I have replaced the batteries and tried to clean the contants. Is there a better repair?

This set of switches embedded in the driver's armrest is loose and pops up above the armrest when the door is slammed shut. Is there an easy (or inexpensive) way to tighten these down? The dealer tells me the door will have to be disassembled and labor charges

The backlight bulb is burned out behind the "channel selector" air flow selector control for the a/c and must be replaced. The dealer is quoting a high labor charge of somewhere between $50 and $100 to replace the bulb. Is this correct? Why so much?

I need help with the passenger side cv axle on my 96' camry. I have got the first "half" of the axle out but i am having trouble with the second "half". I don't know how to get the pillow ball and the rest of the shaft out. Any help will sure be appreciated. thanx.

I have a 1996 Toyota Camry and the cloth trim on the inside of the door is delaminating. This is the insert that the door handle goes on. Any suggestions on repairing this. I was thinking of pulling the inserts out and spraying with contact adhesive! Any clues?
