what does this light mean?08 Apr 2006 08:29 GMT7
I don't have the manual on me at the moment, but on my '96 camry,
there's a light to the left of the Airbag light, that looks like a car
with the rear lights lit.
It comes on during startup, only after the Airbag light goes out.

Best year for Toyota07 Apr 2006 16:48 GMT5
Okay.  I have a 1988 with 205K miles, mechanically strong, body is rusting
away though [spent too much time at the beach].  I figure I have another
year or so before I put it out to pasture.  What model/year is the best of
the Toyota line?  I heard 94 Camry, but don't really know ...

Our 2004 Camry with 18,025 miles on it just had the yellow check engine
light (in right corner of dash) come on.  I called the Toyota dealer and
asked if they could tell me by phone what this means.  They asked if it was
blinking - I said NO.  It just stays on.  They said I had ...

Buying Experience with 2007 Camry06 Apr 2006 23:08 GMT9
I would be very interested in hearing about buying experiences for the
new 2007 Camry. How far above (or below) invoice were you able to buy at?
Also, does anyone know a good Toyota fleet dealer in northern
California? I mean one that will let you special order the car directly
Re:  Belt and Hose Life06 Apr 2006 14:26 GMT1
Timing belt,  water pump and all that was done at 90K.  I had it done by
a local gas station mechanic with serious Toyota experience and more.
The guy has a local reputation as very good.  It took him more than a
half day.  The old timing belt looked fine,  which is really
Alarm Question06 Apr 2006 00:33 GMT2
I've got an interesting quesiton for y'all.  Recently I was in my car
and I didn't have my keys so I pressed the lock on the door and locked
all of the doors and went inside my home.  Since then, whenever I use
my keyless remote to lock the doors thats all it does, lock them.  My
Bucking Camry05 Apr 2006 22:56 GMT5
Hey all,
First off, let me just say that I really don't know what I am talking
about.  I'm like one of those people who just learned what a steering
wheel is! HAHAH
Honda quality vs. Toyota?05 Apr 2006 21:54 GMT20
First of all, I've never ever driven a Honda, so I cannot speak from
any experience.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of say a Honda Accord vs. the
Camry?
unable to remove drums05 Apr 2006 21:44 GMT2
I have a 03 Camry LE - 35K miles.
Last weekend, I tried to inspect the rear drum brakes
(nothing was wrong - just thought that it's about time to
check the shoes and like, and perhaps do some clean up).
'95 Camry power steering help?05 Apr 2006 17:01 GMT2
My power steering is off and on... if I crank the steering to both sides it
seems to help the power steering work better, although I don't always have
to do this.
I thought there might be a belt that needs tightening, but there doesn't
Motor and Transmission Mounts05 Apr 2006 16:39 GMT8
Yesterday, while backing my 97 Camry (approx. 74,500 miles) into a
parking space I heard small pops/clicks coming from near the front
right tire every second or so the car was in reverse. Later in the day,
when I was pulling the car out of a spot in reverse, I heard the same
airco A/C light flashes05 Apr 2006 14:47 GMT2
The flashing green light in the A/C button indicates trouble. However a
refill and very expensive presurising of the system did not solve the
problem. Who knows a solution. The Camry is a 2.2 GL 1998.
