| Avalon Transmission Whine | 05 Apr 2006 06:01 GMT | 8 |
I have a 2000 Avalon V6 with automatic transmission. In the speed range between 30-40 mph I hear a whine (sounds like an electric drill noise). The sound increases in pitch as vehicle speed increases, but goes away if I take my foot off the accelerator. Recently, a similar ...

| Okay, so what did I do wrong? | 05 Apr 2006 03:56 GMT | 19 |
I should have known better, but I decided to replace the spark-plugs and spark-plug wires myself in my 96 Camry with 155K. Well, after the job I thought all went well until the engine started missing. I have the wires hooked up to the proper outlets on the dist cap that's for ...

| differential without oil? | 05 Apr 2006 01:03 GMT | 11 |
What would happen if one were to drain the differential, then "forget" to refill the diff with ATF? How many miles would you have to drive before damaging the car? What would the damage look like?

There is absolutely NOTHING in my Camry manual telling one how to properly check the AT fluid level. Other cars I have owned differ greatly in this respect. I KNOW that the vehicle has to be warmed up, However, should be engine be

| 2006 Toyota Camry Transmission Leak @ 5,000 miles | 04 Apr 2006 22:00 GMT | 7 |
I got my brand new Camry 4 months ago and just yesterday, the Maintenance Required light came on. Judging by the fact that the 5,000 miles just rolled over on the ODO and that my owner's manual said that that light, on the Camry, indicates that I need an oil change; I took

| What's the lowest part at the center of rear suspension? | 04 Apr 2006 19:31 GMT | 2 |
I changed the tires of my 90' Camry with a hydro-jack. The part supported with the hydro-jack is the center of the suspension bar. I find it is the lowest part and appropriate with the jack-jaw. A question comes to me. What's usefulness of this part (like a half ball)

| 96 camry stalling... hmm... | 04 Apr 2006 00:48 GMT | 9 |
Ok, here's the situation. Maybe once a month, when stopped at a stop sign or stop light, my '96 camry will suddenly drop in RPMs. Sometimes, if I quickly shift to neutral then tap the gas, this will rescue it. Other times, the car stalls outright, and needs to be

| Low fuel warning light | 03 Apr 2006 22:17 GMT | 9 |
Having recently purchasing my first Toyota Camry the owners manual tells about the low fuel warning light but know where does it tell you how much fuel one has left in the tank. Does anyone know how much is left? Mine is a 2000 model with a four cylinder engine.

| 98 Camry with 98k miles -- rack & pinion leaking. Normal? | 03 Apr 2006 21:54 GMT | 12 |
I had my '98 Camry have its 90k mile service not too long ago, and now (maybe a coincidence) I find that the rack & pinion is leaking and needs to be replaced. This seems to be quite unusual for a car with such low mileage.

I need to tap into constant 12 volt power to install ipod gadget. What is the best way to do so? I am installing a Monster Icruze and they recommend using a T-Tap connector to prevent cutting the wiring harness. Also, is there any easy way to find/determine a constant 12 volt ...
