93 Camry Keys07 May 2006 04:25 GMT9
I just bought a car used, the keys that came with it looked very worn
out, so I had a duplicate set made at lowes as a precaution. However
the new keys only open the door and trunk but will not start the
car...is this a security measure or was the key badly made?
Could my problem be a bad fuel press. regulator?06 May 2006 22:46 GMT8
Its a 1988 Camry wagon, std 4-cyl engine (3S-FE).  The engine runs
fine as long as the cars sits parked, You can rev it up, it doesn't
choke. Acceleration is OK at first.  However, after being driven for
about ten minutes slowly on residential streets, the engine loses

I bought this new in 2003 . Now it has 39000 city miles on it. I have
rotated and balanced the tires every 7500 miles. But recently I have
been noticing that the OEM Continental Touring Contact AS tires have
had significant loss of tread on the outside. I have also read bad
Airtex vs. Denso fuel pump: which?06 May 2006 17:54 GMT1
The Airtex fuel pump for 1988 Camry is 30.00 cheaper than the Denso
pump.  Airtex sells for $143.00  Cheapest of all the brands. Is this a
case of "you get what you pay for"? Or will the Airtex perform as well
as the high-dollar brands like Bosch?   Thanks, Geronimo

91 with no PVC04 May 2006 20:18 GMT10
A 91 4 cil Camry has no pvc valve from what I have read, what is there
to maintain to keep the gas recirculation clean and operating properly.
1999 Camry trunk release03 May 2006 18:06 GMT3
Everything in the trunk area looks normal.  I suspect a electrical problem
Maybe even the motor that operates the trunk release.  Any chance of getting
a wiring diagram?  I have a multi-meter which I know how to use.

2000 Camry Accelerator Sticks03 May 2006 04:19 GMT1
I have a 2000 Camry that has an accerlator that sticks. When I'm at a stop

acclerates normally. I have a friend that has a 95 camry ...

1991 Camry Starts Hard02 May 2006 14:59 GMT1
I own a 4 cyl Camry in wonderful condition.  The only problem is that
cold or hot it takes excessive cranks for it to start on its own.  If I
press the gas pedal a little and crank it will start.  I checked the
cold start valve for ohm reading and its okay.  Is there another sensor

some of it's symptoms, and one of the things mentioned was auto gearbox
