| rough idle | 14 Jun 2006 23:15 GMT | 2 |
I found my idle problem and hate to say that it was a dumb mistake on my part, I had # 4&6 plug wires crossed. Although I replaced one wire at a time, not making excuses, it was a 2nd hand car. I still have a problem with both cooling fans coming on as soon as the key is turned on. ...

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry LE 3.0L V6 with 120, 000 miles. The dealer quoted me $475 to get it replaced. Is this the normal cost to replace a timing belt (it looks a bit too excessive to me)?

| 88 Camry: Can't get damper pulley bolt loose.... | 14 Jun 2006 04:32 GMT | 19 |
Its the 4-cyl 3S-FE engine. I have about run out of ideas. I soaked the pulley and bolt in Seafoam for days. I did the " screwdriver jammed into the flywheel teeth" trick to lock the engine. Tried a 1/2 in air impact wrench at 100 PSI

After getting warmed up, my alternator and brake warning lights come on and flash off intermittantly. They seem to stay off for longer periods when I'm idling. Even when they are not flashing on/off, I can see from the headlight output that there is intermittant dropping of

| Difficulty Getting Solara | 13 Jun 2006 17:02 GMT | 1 |
Why is it so difficult to get a manual transmission Solara Sport SE? The default transmission is a manual, but the dealer says getting one is almost impossible. Why is this? Would it be better to go to Kentucky and pick up the car from the factory (if made in Kentucky).

| No CD Player in my 2000 Camry Radio | 12 Jun 2006 23:40 GMT | 6 |
The CD stopped working last winter (cassette and radio are OK). The manual said go to the dealer for repair. The dealer confirmed what I knew - the CD was broken and would have to be returned to Toyota for repair. Ouch! I have three options: 1) live without the CD; 2) ...
