rubber flakes in coolant?07 Jun 2006 03:34 GMT7
'96 camry, changed coolant maybe 15,000 miles ago (Toyota red stuff).
I opened the radiator fill cap to do a coolant test (dropper with
little floating balls), and noticed little flakes (maybe 1/8 or 1/16 of
an inch) of rubber floating in the radiator.

I have a 90 Camry. 4 door, 2wd, Engine 3S-FE:
I'm trying to remove the right axle. I got the end clear of the wheel
hub so that all that is left holding it is the bearing bracket in the
middle and where it enters the transmission. I unfastened the snapring

My Camry is currently showing a check engine light on the dashboard. I
recently replaced the computer, however the performance of the car and
its idling is not good. It feels like i am driving with the hand brake
on. Please advise what the problem might be

Strange component on the camry underbody06 Jun 2006 14:16 GMT1
I had the camry '95 LE lifted today for inspection
and I have noticed something like a piece of rubber
or some sponge tucked in a snug spot between engine
oil pan and the automatic transmission...
1991 Camry won't start warm05 Jun 2006 23:46 GMT5
I have a 1991 Camry (4cyl) with about 130,000 miles.  Overall it runs
great, however occassionally when my wife has been driven it for a
while and decideds to run into a store when she comes back out the car
won't crank over.  She ends up having to wait for about 30 minutes for
'00 Camry timing belt question05 Jun 2006 22:49 GMT4
My 18 yr old son drives a 2000 Camry CE 1.8L with 126k miles.  I was
thinking the timing belt replacement was something we needed to get
done this summer sometime - however; he and a friend want to drive from
Austin to Denver in a couple of weeks for a road trip.  Neither he nor
Refrigerant Refill Question05 Jun 2006 13:15 GMT12
1991 Camry DX
5 years ago the compressor was replaced and the refrigerant was changed
from R-12 to 134A. It worked well until I tested it again today. It was
cooling, but the air was not cold as it used to be, therefore I believe

91 Camry Automatic Overdrive04 Jun 2006 21:42 GMT7
Does anyone actually know how it works?
Owners manual says OD off simply prevents it using the OD gear - it affects
the whole gearbox range so that ain't right.
The condescending repair manual (which doesn't even have a photo of it),
2001 Camry - EGR system issues04 Jun 2006 07:44 GMT5
Got a CEL (believe it was 401 - EGR Insufficient Flow) about 3 weeks
ago. Spent last weekend wrangling with the valve, try to get it off and
switch it out. Well, I got the 2 rear facing bolts off, and one of the
bottom bolts out, but was unable to get the last bolt to move at all.
Toyota Transmission Ills04 Jun 2006 07:36 GMT9
I had been reticent to buy a new Toyota because of all the chatter about the
behavior of the newly modified transmission.
I just read a blurb in Motor Trend which suggests that not all those
transmissions
2005 Camry LE 4 Cyl Automatic04 Jun 2006 04:49 GMT3
My Camry is still under warranty, and the issue is small, and never seems to
be enough time to see the dealer.
