| rubber flakes in coolant? | 07 Jun 2006 03:34 GMT | 7 |
'96 camry, changed coolant maybe 15,000 miles ago (Toyota red stuff). I opened the radiator fill cap to do a coolant test (dropper with little floating balls), and noticed little flakes (maybe 1/8 or 1/16 of an inch) of rubber floating in the radiator.

My 18 yr old son drives a 2000 Camry CE 1.8L with 126k miles. I was thinking the timing belt replacement was something we needed to get done this summer sometime - however; he and a friend want to drive from Austin to Denver in a couple of weeks for a road trip. Neither he nor

Does anyone actually know how it works? Owners manual says OD off simply prevents it using the OD gear - it affects the whole gearbox range so that ain't right. The condescending repair manual (which doesn't even have a photo of it),

Got a CEL (believe it was 401 - EGR Insufficient Flow) about 3 weeks ago. Spent last weekend wrangling with the valve, try to get it off and switch it out. Well, I got the 2 rear facing bolts off, and one of the bottom bolts out, but was unable to get the last bolt to move at all.

| 2005 Camry LE 4 Cyl Automatic | 04 Jun 2006 04:49 GMT | 3 |
My Camry is still under warranty, and the issue is small, and never seems to be enough time to see the dealer. After stopping, sometimes the car moves forward slightly (seems to be intermittent). It seems that the brake is not sensitive enough for pedal
