I am trying to remove the left hand side
drive-shaft for boot replacement.
The Haynes manual says to remove the inner CVJoint from the diff

The fuel tank door on my mom's 99 Camry will not open because the
spring broke.  This is inconvenient because one person has to lift the
opener handle while another person has to pry the door open.

Not exactly about car, but I got a flat tire on my tractor and the tire came
off the rim. The tire is still inside the rim, just not sealed onto the
edge. I tried to put it back on by inflating it with the shut-off valve of
the stem valve removed. But it's obviously leaking faster ...

Next camry I buy may be a 4 cylinder.  Are new camrys with 4cylinders
made in usa or japan ?

In my quest for a used Camry 95' to 02',  I've looked at alot of used
Camrys. All but one, a 98' LE have had hydraulic piston hood props.
This one had the standard metal rod prop that sits into a recessed
hole on the hood. Has anyone else seen this type of prop on a 97' to

99 camry 160,000 miles origional spark plugs.
I'm going to replace them.
I want to check spark plug wires beforehand to see if need relaced.
I have digial vom.

My Sister's Camry 2001 4 Cyl. was running rough, and wanted me to look at
it.  I told her I would start with replacing the spark plugs and fuel
filter, the filter has never been changed and the plugs looked worn.  She
has 69,000 on the car.  She never mentioned the engine light was ...

Its for a 1988 Toyota Camry  I4 wagon, 3SFE engine.  It needs new
front lower control arm bushings.  I have tried Rock Auto, Autozone,
and O'Reilly, they don't have this.

Have replaced most all brake components front and rear: rotors, pads,
fit kit, shims, flex lines, disassembled, cleaned and properly
lubricated the rear drum brake components, removed the glaze,
everything is operating very smoothly and correctly unless I try

I just got a new Camry (yesterday!) and have started looking over the
brochures etc. that came with it. It appears that a "Maintenance Required"
light has to be reset when the oil is changed every 5000 miles. Is this
something that a dealer has to do? It would really tick me off ...
