95 camry brake light problem08 Nov 2006 22:12 GMT3
Over the past half year my brakelight indicator on the dash would come
on, and my middle brakelight would not go on when i presed the break
peddle. I would kind of ignore it and it would go off in about a week
and everything was normal, and the brakelights functioned correctly.

We have a 88 camry wagon - automatic.
The front end has always been kinda clunky. We replaced struts, cv
joints and had two different mechanics look at it - without ever
finding the problem.
1990 auto trans shifts too soon08 Nov 2006 12:34 GMT2
Just had my tansmission replaced with a used one.  No telling how old
the used one is.  This replacement transmission shifts way too soon out
of first gear -- in fact, it shifts so soon, that when I'm idling in
rush hour traffic without my foot on gas or brake, it shifts into 2nd

It looks like a I may need to have the rear wiper motor
replaced in our '95 Camry wagon. I'd prefer a new motor, but the
OEM part is over $300. Are there any good aftermarket sources,
or, failing that, a good online salvage yard that would have the

2004 Camry Transmission06 Nov 2006 21:59 GMT1
My daughter wants me to drain and fill the transmission fluid on their 2004
Camry LE with four cyclinder engine. I have done this several times on our
Honda's by opening the drain plug on the transaxle and then refilling it
with fluid. Is the Camry similar? Is there an accessable ...
Iridium or platinum plugs for cold climate?06 Nov 2006 13:55 GMT12
Currently I have NGK BKR6EKPB-11 plugs in my 1999 Camry--these are OEM.
I
live northern Maine where temperatures typically drop below zero during
winter. Would NGK Iridium plugs (BKR6EIX-11) help for cold starting and
'92 camry was running earlier but now nothing...06 Nov 2006 00:54 GMT4

Lifetime warranties05 Nov 2006 19:58 GMT4
I've seen Brake Lifetime warranty specials, why doesn't car
manufacturer's have this as a standard. Are these bogus pads? My friend
just got a service from Midas and seems to be pretty happy with it.

Strange problem with 89 Camry (possibly electrics?)05 Nov 2006 01:04 GMT2
My girlfriend has an 89 camry, and has recently experienced some
strange problems with it. She was driving it , and the "lights" warning
light came on, then a short time later, the radio cut out, and the car
died completely shortly thereafter.

It's mounted atop the out port or hot side for return to radiator an
has 2 vaccumn hoses that hook to the top.  Is it necessary for th
engine to run properly or could a plug be put in that hole, and th

I have one of the first Camrys.  Its an '84 with a 4 cyl gas engine

when I replaced the front tires last month the inner treads were
