Initial battery icon on Hybrid15 Apr 2007 04:09 GMT1
I have a new Camry Hybrid and I love it.  I have less than 500 miles
on it and I'm wondering if the battery icon should be filled to the
very top.  Mine came a bit below the top and it goes between that
setting and even with the minus sign.  Have you any knowledge of this

grinding sound when stopping 99 Camry 4cyl07 Apr 2007 16:59 GMT10
I'm getting a grinding sound coming from the front left wheel at very
low speed just as I'm coming to a stop. I don't hear or feel anything
when braking at moderate or high speeds.  I pulled the wheel off and
there's plenty of brake pad material left and the disc appears smooth.
Rear hub removal06 Apr 2007 07:11 GMT12
I need to replace the bearing on a rear wheel on my 1998 Camry wagon.  I
have located a supplier for the bearing (expensive!) and I have removed
the wheel and caliper, but I can't see how to remove the hub.  Is a
special puller required for this?  Otherwise what's the procedure?

I have a 1997 camry four cylinder standard model 155,000 miles.

the tank goes up to half way from a low level and over the span of
maybe 15 miles it halves. I can drive 5 miles and watch it fall. It

oil change and reprogramming questions05 Apr 2007 00:39 GMT14
The dealer says I can go 5,000 miles between oil changes - how
accurate is that?  Also, I saw a show on the History channel about
customizing cars and I was wondering if the computers in my Camry can
be reprogrammed to improve the performance?  (Don't worry, my

1990 camry LE idle problem04 Apr 2007 03:07 GMT1
when I sit at idle in any gear (automatic), the car runs fine, but one
I touch the brake pedal the engine seems to stuggle to stay at the

Can someone help me out?
