Bad problem replacing steering rack.....28 Jun 2007 14:25 GMT2
Re: 88 Camry Station wagon: After much sweat and 3-4 hrs labor, I got
the bad rack replaced. One of the last things to do: reconnect
hydraulic lines to the rack. The larger (top) one went in fine. Try to

Best place to get window fixed ?27 Jun 2007 02:31 GMT7
Driver's door window on the wife's '93 Camry made a "bang" sound, went
down and wouldn't go back up. I can hear the motor working when I
press the switch. Sounds like the regulator broke.
Where is the best type of place to get this repaired other than the
Detailing hinges, weather seal26 Jun 2007 22:35 GMT1

Started with squeaking door stops. On the '94 Camry, they're plastic
with indentations. Used a bit of silicone grease, worked great. Then

03 Camry turn signal too quiet24 Jun 2007 05:16 GMT9
I see that Autozone has a Tridon  loud  LF12 flasher for this car or
an LF12-K kit that is supposed to change 3 prong to 2 prong plus
enough wire to reposition the flasher to a different area.  Has anyone
done this or does Toyota have a solution for the quiet turn signal?
P/S has gone out on my Camry24 Jun 2007 04:38 GMT2
About 3 months ago  I replaced the worn-out steering rack on my 88
camry wagon with a rebuilt unit. It was fine for about six weeks. Then
I noticed it getting a "dead-zone"/play in the steering wheel. 2 weeks
ago the power steering went out all together...but it was not
87 Camry - Catalytic Converter issue24 Jun 2007 04:14 GMT3
Hello friends:
My 87 Camry (218K miles) barely cleared CA smog check on second try.
My mechanic pointed out that catalytic converter (original) will need
to be replaced next time as it is not filtering out emissions well.
Hacking the 2007 Camry24 Jun 2007 03:56 GMT3
Does anyone know how to customize some features of the 2007 Camry,
like the behavior of the headlights when you turn off the engine
(normally, they stay on for a fixed amount of time after all of the
doors and trunk are closed), the beeps that sound when you arm or

AC Line Pressure Limits24 Jun 2007 03:44 GMT2
I have a gauge to go with my new form of refrigerant (not
R-12).  It shows hi-side pressure can be anywhere from 25-45psi -
which seems like a big range.   Not sure how old the compressor/lines
are, as the car (230M) had
