The air conditioning on my 92 Camry no longer seems to work.  I'd
appreciate any feedback on what could be wrong and the cost to fix it.
Thanks

Amsoil21 Jun 2007 04:52 GMT5
Does anyone use Amsoil products in their Camry's? I have a 2002 LE and have
been using Amsoil since about 8000km (currently at 90,000km). I was using
the SDF10 filter until they changed it to a EaO10 part #. The EaO10 leaks
like a sieve. I mean a nice puddle under the car. I have ...

I recently had my engine light come on  and went to Auto zone where I had
their computer talk to mine and was told that it is an emissions problem.
Then  took the car into Dobbs Auto center and had them run a full check on
the emissions. They found nothing wrong. They want me to ...

99 Camry 4 cyl Tune up19 Jun 2007 16:15 GMT2
I replaced spark plug cables and matched them incorrectly.  As I was trying
to pull out the cable, the cable came out from crown undamaged, but the
crown remained in place.   I then fitted cables in appropriate crowns.  So
far, this has worked fine.  Will this work fine in the ...

I drove my 04 Camry on high water flood road. After I pass the road,
the AC button started to flashing, and the AC automatically shut off.
Thirty minutes later I stop my car and start again, the AC function
came back to normal, and no more flashing. Does driving over high
Are OEM pads *really* necesarry?15 Jun 2007 06:52 GMT6
A friend and I are about to change the front pads on my '99 Camry V6.
He's the mechanic, I'm the helper. He owns and maintains his own 2000
Toyota Tacoma, and says any decent semi-metalic pads should work fine.
I mentioned that I'd read non-OEM pads squealed IIRC. What's the
1998 Camry I4 differential15 Jun 2007 06:07 GMT3
I discovered that I was losing differential fluid when I went to drain
and refill the dif and only got about 8 ounces of fluid out. I
refilled and wiped down everything around the dif. After driving for a
few days I found evidence of new Dexron leaking from the driver's side
Filtering Efficiency of toyota Oil Filters?14 Jun 2007 20:23 GMT5
Are the Toyota oil filters any better than typical aftermarket ones such
as Fram or purolator standard filters which are 94 percent efficient? I
know that some premium filters are 99 percent efficient. I have used
Fram filters and wonder if the extra cost of premium filters is ...
ATF metal particles14 Jun 2007 03:08 GMT3
Just pulled the trans pan today and found a lot of fine metal particles
stuck to the magnets -- they were really coated with metal slurry.  Also
some on the differential plug magnet. Pan has never been pulled before,
car is 12 yrs old, 178k, 4cyl. Is there a 'normal' amount to ...

The car is a 2001 camry 4 cyl. 82k mi. I'll be changing the front
brake pads soon (this is the second set). The brake pads (Akebono
ProAct Ceramics from tirerack) came with two one inch tubes of black
looking caliper grease which has to be applied to the pad backing
performance pistons?14 Jun 2007 01:11 GMT2
Do "performance pistons" (slightly taller pistons which would give a
higher compression ratio) exist for the 5S-FE engine?
Having trouble finding any online for the Camry...
How to remove the rear window panel of 99 camry to replace the window regulator12 Jun 2007 03:26 GMT1
My 99 Camry power window cannot go up or come down on  driver side
rear window.  I am thinking to replace the regulator and assembly by
myself.  However, it seems very hard to remove the plastic panels.
Does anyone have experience to share?   Thanks in advance.
