smelling gas !!09 Aug 2007 01:18 GMT11
My '07 Camry has 13000km on it.  In the last couple of days,
it seems to have developed a noticable fuel odor at the back
end.  I'm a little afraid to drive it now that we've
confirmed it is coming from my new car rather than the from
Knocking when on full lock08 Aug 2007 09:54 GMT3
My 99 Camry 3.0 Sport in the UK has started making a knocking noise
when turning at low speed, don't know if it's also doing it at higher
speeds as other noises would mask it. My garage changed the bottom
suspension arms as the rubber was split, but this has not cured it.
Heater Blower motor06 Aug 2007 23:13 GMT5
The blower on my 99 Camry is suddenly only working on the two highest
settings.  The AC itself seems to come on when the switch is turned to any
speed setting, but the blower itself doesn't start until turned to the
higher speeds.  I asked about it on "AllExperts.com and was told ...

2002 struts06 Aug 2007 06:49 GMT5
I have a 2002 Camry with 117K trouble free miles.  According to my
dealer I should have replaced my struts 60K miles ago.  I have done
all my own maintence for years, brakes, trans service, filters,
tuneups, etc.  Is this a job for professionals or something I can do
Big problem installing new strut.....06 Aug 2007 05:26 GMT7
Re: 1988 Camry 4 cyl station wagon:
The RH strut and CV half-shaft were worn out.  I got the  new CV
half-shaft connected to the drive shaft,   no problem.  However I had
to get a coil spring compression tool to re-compress the spring. Its
88 Camry: are CV joints identical?04 Aug 2007 22:21 GMT2
I have a 88 Camry 4 cyl station wagon.  I have already replaced the CV
joint on the LH side.  Now I need to replace the RH side.  THere is
something different on the RH side, it looks like there is an
intermediate bearing or something between the transaxle output and the

93 Won't Start, Timing Belt or Ignition Problems04 Aug 2007 21:59 GMT4
Hi, I have a 93 Camry with 201K miles on it.  As far as I know, the
timing belt has never been replaced.
The car died suddenly yesterday.  Now it won't start.  I did the fuel
pump test and I am pretty sure I have fuel pressure.

Can you add fog lights on a 2002 Carmy02 Aug 2007 22:14 GMT3
Hi everybody. Me again.
I was driving down the california cost the other day, and as often had
to deal with pretty thick fog.
I have a 2002 Camry without the fog light.
40K 2002 Camry - fuel injection cleaning and misc service question.01 Aug 2007 22:50 GMT8
Hi. My 40K 2002 Carmy runs well although I have noticed a slight loss
of mileage performance in town driving (Los Angeles) at around 17mpg
(long distance freeway seems to remain at around 29-30mpg).
During the last oil change, the dealer suggested a "Throttle Body and
emmisions test - DLC cover01 Aug 2007 20:39 GMT4
I'm getting an emissions test for my 2003 (4-cyl) Camry.  For the
first time, they are going to use the DLC.  I am supposed to uncover
the DLC prior to arriving at the facility, but I haven't the foggiest
idea where it is or what it looks like (and I lost my manual in a move
Water pump01 Aug 2007 06:51 GMT2
While I'm changing the timing belt, I'm also changing the water pump
on my '97 Camry 4 cylinder.  The coolant bypass hose is attached to
the back of the pump behind the thermostat.  How do you detach the
pump from it?  The book just says to remove it.  I have removed the 2
2004 Camry oxygen sensor01 Aug 2007 06:44 GMT6
I got the Check Engine light. My mechanic scanned it and found a problem
with oxygen sensor, bank 1 sensor 1.
He said that this part cost $297, but that it should not have failed after
only 30,000 miles.
