| Synthetic Oil ?? | 28 Sep 2007 23:24 GMT | 12 |
I have a 1996 Toyota Camry. I'm pretty sure it is a 4 cylinder; and I know it's a 4 door. I've got about 90K miles on it. I should also say that at one point the oil had not been changed for some time and sludge was produced just inside the oil cap at top of engine.

| 2002 rear bearing assembly question | 28 Sep 2007 23:18 GMT | 2 |
My 2002 Camry was in for service this week and I found out I need new wheel bearings on both sides on the rear. As some of you would know the wheel bearing comes with the complete hub assembly and it isn't cheap. So I have been checking the aftermarket products and I have 2

| Sudden A/C loss ... cost? | 27 Sep 2007 13:19 GMT | 7 |
My A/C went out rather rapidly - first I noticed it just wasn't as cold as usual; 10 min later it wasn't cold at all. I've got a good list of things to check, and I guess I hope it is just a drive belt - but if it is a leak, what am I looking at, cost wise?

| Number of V6 vers the 4 cylinder | 27 Sep 2007 02:35 GMT | 1 |
It seems that in North Carolina that the dealers have about a 5 or 10 to one ratio of the 4 cylinders to the 6 cylinder Camrys. Is there that much more of a demand for the 4 cylinders ? If so that may explain why the dealer cut the price of a Green V6 so much on a new Camry I ...

| "Tighten" bearing, 1986 Camry (Front hub) | 27 Sep 2007 02:14 GMT | 1 |
Mom's 1986 Camry failed inspection; the inspector said the bearing on the driver's side front was bad. He said, "You may be able to tighten it up; I'm not sure on this car." I am guessing he means tighten the hub.

My '99 Camry has 160 k miles on it and diagnostics say that the check engine light is on because of problems with the Charcoal Canister. There have been some posts on this a while back, but no definite conclusion on what to do--some people said you can pay $400 to have
