My gas pedal sticks many times when I am at a stoplight and I try and go again. It feels like I have to get past a barrier or sticky spot and then it gives way. This causes me to give it more gas than I want to and make the car jump forward. What could cause this? It seems to

I have purchased this car recently so I am unaare of all of its history. The current symptoms are: - Hard to start when cold. It turns over fine does not fire, when it does it chugs a few times before coming to life.

I have a '99 Camry XLE. I imported some Osram Silverstars from Europe, but even though they say 50% more light I really couldn't see much of a change. I have cleaned the lenses with the recommended Plexor plastic cleaner.
