My check engine light came on.  I disconnected the battery and the light
went off.  It even passed the state emissions test.  As soon as I re-start
the car, the light comes back on and stays on till I disconnect the battery
again.  Any ideas as to what I need to look for to ...

My Toyota dealer tells me the auto. trans. fluid on my '93 Camry 4
cyl.  is black and should be replaced.
Not sure but it may have never been replaced. Maybe one time max.
Think he wanted $100-200 or so for replacement, etc.

I was also surprised to find out that people were already using this

The car starts right up and it isn't misfiring, but it dies
instantly at idle. It's due for a tuneup, but this happened suddenly.
What do you think...IAC? One of the sensors? It has 180k miles on it.

Thought I would post solutions for 2 camry hybrid rattles.
First was clicking in center vent of dash HVAC.  AC had to be on for a while
before clicking started.  Initially dealer found no problem but after polite
encouragement they changed the center dashboard vent and that solved ...

1998 Camry LE with about 110K.
The dashboard brake light is coming on very intermittently. Stays on
for 30/40 seconds and then goes out.
Plenty of brake fluid. Handbrake is off. Had a complete brake job

I have found some threads with instructions to eliminate the beeping
sound upon locking and unlocking the doors but none of them seem to
work with my vehicle.  Is there a new procedure for the current
generation of camry to eliminate the beep noises caused by the remote?

My cousin was in a small accident which appears to have cracked the
windshield washer fluid tank: the fluid simply leaks down below.
I don't even know if the tank is plastic (= must be replaced?) or metal
(=could possibly be repaired)? What kind of expense  is involved?
