What do you think of gas prices?27 Sep 2008 16:21 GMT6
Wow! gas prices are rediculously expensive.  Nowadays you have to
think twice before going out. Why? well not because you don't know
where you're heading, but because of the gas price.  You want to make
sure that you have enough for the REAL needs. But come on, we
cheap power boosts?27 Sep 2008 16:06 GMT1
I was reading the specs on the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor
(by the radiator hoses) and on the intake air temp sensor (on the air
filter housing) from turboninjas.com/camry/eg1.pdf
Then I saw this:  http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl250i.htm
Mysterious problem26 Sep 2008 17:41 GMT11
I have a 1998 Toyota Camry with an intermittent problem that’s existed
for over three years.  My local dealer has checked the car out and
found nothing wrong.  Of course, the problem doesn’t occur when he has
the car, but it’s so fleeting I doubt he’d find anything even if it

So let's say I've got a discharged car battery.  How long would one
have to drive the car, for the alternator to fully charge it up?

Battery warning question24 Sep 2008 16:45 GMT15
So the battery on my 2000 Camry just died.  The auto shop found it to
be out of any juice.  But why didn't the car give me any warning?
Isn't it supposed to light up the battery sign in the front panel long
before this?

Trying to find this part - I think it's contributing to my '96 camry
stalling.
It is mentioned on the turboninjas.com/camry site, but I don't know
where it is exactly... it's not inside the tranny oil pan, is it?

Sears Tires23 Sep 2008 13:49 GMT29
My Camry had been making noise so the mechanic checked it out and told me it was bad tires.  I went to Sears to get three new tires(one of them was only a few months old).  After I got home - a friend told me I should check the manufacturing date on them as Sears, Wal-Mart, Good ...
Replacing PCV valve on 4 cylinder engine22 Sep 2008 18:32 GMT5
Do I just pop the old one out and put the new one in or does it need some
rubber grommet replaced, as well? I have 1995 Camry LE, 2.2 L.
vacuum switching valve21 Sep 2008 14:20 GMT5
What are potential symptoms of a defective vacuum switching valve (for
the EGR system)?
Does the VSV go bad on the '96 I4 camry, typically?

Flushing AT on my '95 LE with 2.2.20 Sep 2008 01:19 GMT6
So my Camry has about 140k on it and I believe it has never had a
flush done on the tranny. I am thinking about flushing the AT on my
own. Now, is this something I can do? I am pretty handy and have done
some other vehicle's flushing AT. Is there anything I need to keep in
