Aftermarket remote central locking28 Mar 2009 01:58 GMT6
I have a 97 Vienta Touring and the previous owner had lost the remote for
the central locking. I spoke to Toyota about what it would cost to fix and
was quoted $800 for a replacement CIR unit and 2 new remotes and basically
told that I was better off getting an aftermarket unit. ...

2000 Camry struts and shocks???25 Mar 2009 02:35 GMT16
Recently as I drive the car, I notice some rattling noises coming from
the front of the car.  I'm not sure if it is in my suspension assembly
or just some other part knocking around in there. It only seems to
happen when I go over medium size bumps and larger. Also when I go
2002 Camry-4 Automatic25 Mar 2009 02:25 GMT1
I just had my Camry in for a front end alignment .yes, it was
wandering a bit.
I just wanted a front wheel alignment but they said I needed a 4 wheel
alignment because of the independant rear suspension as opposed to a
Steering pump belt -  Camry 1999 - 4 cylinder25 Mar 2009 02:16 GMT1
I see 2 belts in this car (Camry 1999 - 4 cylinder), larger one is for the
Alternator and Compressor, a smaller one drives the steering pump.  The larger
one is tensioned by the Alternator mount that can ride up/down.
The smaller belt for the steering pump does not seem to have ...

How replace the Pass Seat Belt Anchor '99 V6`19 Mar 2009 00:54 GMT4
Do I have to remove the front pass seat? It's an XLE and the pass seat
is powered. The tongue of the belt won't lock into the anchor unless
you hold the release button down while inserting the tongue.
Any thoughts? Any long term recalls?
Bleed 02 Camry Brake (with ABS)16 Mar 2009 04:15 GMT2
This evening as I drove my wife's 02 Camry, I felt that the brake
seemed gotten more spongy. I guess it's time to bleed it, since it's
never been done. I have bled non ABS before, but not with ABS. Are the
jobs different? Any special scanner or some special device needed for
suspension14 Mar 2009 07:46 GMT4
I've gone over the curb a couple times and whenever I'm on slightly
uneven pavement or driving over small bumps there is some rumbling and
vibration in my 4cyl 99 Camry. I get someone to looking at it and he
says the bushings are shot so I need to replace the struts and strut

Leasing a 2009 Camry LE11 Mar 2009 18:05 GMT12
Got this flyer from a Toyota dealer advertising a 36 month lease where
they pay the first 12 months and you only pay for 24 months. The fine
print indicated that the maximum paid for the first 12 months would be
$2400. Okay, so this is basically a $2400 money back offer without any
Low speed shimmy10 Mar 2009 04:11 GMT2
Had all 4 tires replaced a year ago and rotated about 6 months later.
At slow speeds the wheels shimmy. I have had the wheels aligned twice
and the balance checked . Both tie rods are new. At speed the front
seems O.K. I was told that maybe a belt in one of the tires may be

I own a 96 Camry LE ( 4 Doors, 4 cyl. 146, 000 miles ). I Started the
engine and left it Idle for about three hours about a week ago in a
parking lot. While I was driving the car back home I found that the
