What to Do: '95 Camry Four with Green Coolant30 Sep 2009 21:27 GMT15
We had the water pump and timing belt done on our '95 wagon last
year. The parts were aftermarket, not Toyota, but we asked for Toyota
coolant. Now it appears they used the regular green stuff. The car is
behaving ok, but the reservoir is nearly empty (this *may* be normal

Camry Noise like a race car or motorbike30 Sep 2009 00:12 GMT9
I have 2000 camry VE (4 cylinder) 71000 milesm Yesterday while driving
home I see it was roaring like a motor bike (or race car) I pop up the
hood up and like it was smelling like burning gas...Any one knows what
it could be?
pyrotechnic seats27 Sep 2009 21:27 GMT1
The seatbelt anchor on my Camry broke and the dealer wants around 210
bucks to install a new one so I'll have to figure out how to remove
the thing myself. it appears that I might have to remove the seat
itself so I looked through my chilton manual. It says that there might
'95 Camry Chronic Fuel Leakage23 Sep 2009 05:06 GMT18
Our '95 four cylinder sedan was a great, trouble-free car for many
years, until it developed a modest fuel leak. Little did we know how
much of a problem this would be! First the dealer replaced the gas tank;
the leak stopped, only to return a short time later. With no apologies
'99 Camry P0446 Code23 Sep 2009 00:05 GMT5
99 Camry 4-cyl Auto 124,000 miles. The 'Check Engine' light came on
this week. I got an OBD  II reader and it gave me the code P0446. That
is something in the Evap. Emission Control. I have the Service Manual.
The cchapter starts on DI-131 or something place like that. Obviously
where is oil level sensor on 1998 Camry 2.222 Sep 2009 19:57 GMT1
I sometimes have problems with the oil level light in the dashboard.
It lits up when the motor is getting quite hot (like in traffic jams)
although there is enough oil level in the motor.
Attention: I'm not talking about oil pressure light, but about oil level
2002 Camry Four Automatic: Flush or Spil & Fill?22 Sep 2009 05:28 GMT13
We are buying a very low mileage (28k) 2002 Camry that was owned by
an elderly woman who drove it mainly once a week on errands. The car is
in remarkable shape, but aside from oil changes and tire replacement, it
has not received all the maintenance it should have gotten. It ...
92 camry wagon rear window regulator22 Sep 2009 02:11 GMT6
Does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket window
regulator/motor assembly to fit a 92 camry wagon rear window.
The one for the 4 door is different. Thanks
Catastrophic Oil Loss21 Sep 2009 20:07 GMT7
I have a 99 Camry, 4 cylinder, with approximately 144k miles.  On 21
Jul 2009, I visited a local oil change shop that I used for years and
had my oil/filter changed. I drove about 4 to 5 miles and noticed the
engine stumbled briefly, or lost power, twice. I immediately checked
Need your valuable input for Toyota Camry20 Sep 2009 05:26 GMT2
I would like to introduce myself. I am currently pursuing MBA from
Kellogg.
I have to submit a project based on research from the owners of toyota
cars.
Your being way too nice.19 Sep 2009 16:03 GMT1
If it's using twice the oil it was before you have a problem now...and
both the dealer and the oil change shop know it ...
for the same reason race car owners don't like to run the same engine
twice without rebuilding it ... wear ...  heat + friction = wear
wheel bearings?15 Sep 2009 22:13 GMT10
What are symptoms of bad front wheel bearings?  Should they only be
replaced when there's a noise?  Haynes says the job should be left to
a professional mechanic, due to special tools required... ('96 Camry,
Suspension & Steering Systems, Hub and bearing assembly - front).
ENGINE COOLANT QUESTION15 Sep 2009 19:53 GMT7
Excuse the basic question, but I'm not too adept at car repair/
maintaining, but I wish to learn.  My manual is long gone and trying
to find the answers on the 'net is not as comprehensive as i first
thought.
