Prius and Satellite Radio17 Aug 2005 02:01 GMT13
After reading many customer reviews at Edmunds.com, I'm confused.
Is satellite radio (preferbly Sirius) an option on the 2005 Prius, or
isn't it?  (Some reviews say no, while others say that they got their
car with Sirius installed.)
the plural of Prius?15 Aug 2005 17:51 GMT10
"I had a Prius then, and loved it.  In fact, I've now had three Prii since
they first came out."
Sounds kinda funny, but would "priusses" be better?
Just stirring the pot, pretty quiet here lately.

Anyone else having problems with front tire wear or alignment ? We are
are our second set of front tires which have worn down to the cord on
the inside edges. After the first set they were replaced at a Toyota
Comments re Test Drive...13 Aug 2005 01:45 GMT11
in case anyone would find them useful...
I was somewhat worried about the controls, which seem so
different from "normal" ones.  That was not a big issue The
description I saw of them as being like a "h", was totally

Question on Tax Deuction12 Aug 2005 05:29 GMT1
Last year I bought a Ford Escape Hybrid and used a $2000 tax deduction for
hybrids. This year I bought a new Prius to go along with my Escape. Can I
use the deduction this year for the Prius? I read that it is a one time
deduction. But does that mean one time per car or one time ...
Prius stalling?12 Aug 2005 04:58 GMT19
I have an 04 Prius.  I had a situation on the way to work recently.  I
was driving in Boston rush hour traffic, in of all places on a bridge.
I had approx a 1/2 tank of fuel, moving at approx 45 mph.  At the time
just under 15K miles.
Where can one test drive in W burbs of Boston?06 Aug 2005 03:14 GMT13
I asked the dealer, and he laughed--as one might expect, given
what I have read.  My only thought is maybe I can rent one
somewhere for 24 hours.  I want to see how the headlights are
for one thing.  Also how alien the controls and
2006, or 2005 Prius?06 Aug 2005 01:27 GMT15
I am very close to buy a 2005 Prius, but like to know how soon 2006 is
going to released.
The dealer offers -$500 from MSRP for a 2005 Prius with Pkg #4, Silver
and will pay $2400.00 for my 2000 Toyota Corolla CE with 100,000 miles
iPod hookup for 2003 Prius?04 Aug 2005 16:16 GMT3
I have a 2003 Prius and want to hardwire an iPod into the stereo system (not
use the not-so-great FM transmitter option that some iPod kits offer).
Does anyone know how to do this?  Is there a kit?
Thanks in advance.
Considering a Prius....But Still Have Questions03 Aug 2005 01:03 GMT8
I'm considering purchasing a Prius to replace my 2001 Subaru Forester.
I'm considering a "fully-loaded" model (ie - Option Combo #6).  Although
I haven't gone for a test drive yet, I've been reading through websites
and this newsgroup, and can't find answers to a few questions:
What is Option 9?02 Aug 2005 16:42 GMT3
Saw it on the Toyota site under their rental car program where you could
rent a Prius to try it out and then get to buy it if you like it from select
dealers (not mine).
Didn't see Option 9 on their regular Add Features area, and their hybrid
