Does anyone know when the new 2007 will be out. Will navigation system be the same: has anyone used theirs, and what do they think.

| Removing Bugs | 29 Apr 2006 03:03 GMT | 4 |
Waxed my black 2005 yesterday. It looks like new, thanks to finally removing last summer's bugs from the nose. I'd tried everything I could think of to get that bug debris off without success. Dealer recommended the "Gunk" brand of tar and bug remover. It comes in a spray can ...

Have any of you checked this out? Egad! I wonder what the price will be--and when it will be available. Don't like those doors though... Here are some pics and some prose: <http://watthead.blogspot.com/2006/01/ford-debuts-reflex-diesel-electric.html>

| Synthetic Oil? | 26 Apr 2006 04:54 GMT | 8 |
Any advice on using synthetic oil? I have an 06 Prius, coming up to the 5K mile oil change. My prior experience with synthetic oil has been great ... saved the engine when my wife tore the oil pan off ...

| Comparison of prius with Corolla LE | 25 Apr 2006 14:02 GMT | 19 |
Consumer reports, in the article here: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cars/new-cars/high-cost-of-hybrid-vehicles-40 6/hybrids-vs-all-gas.htm compared hybrids to their gas equivalents and looked at projected savings (or not) in your fuel bill. In this article, they used a

| Prospective owner | 23 Apr 2006 01:22 GMT | 31 |
I am seriously considering buying a Prius and I have a few questions for you experienced owners. I'll post just one right now: How far do you go on a tank of gas on the open road? I am thinking of a road trip where I am driving at 75-80 mph all day. In my present car,

| One of life's little joys | 20 Apr 2006 03:26 GMT | 12 |
Yesterday was a beautiful day in Massachusetts. And I found myself gliding along in that 99.9 mpg groove, running just on the battery, with just a tad of wheel noise and the sound of the air as the car moved through it. The windows were open,

| my poor WRX | 18 Apr 2006 23:08 GMT | 4 |
I just realized I haven't bought a tank of gas for my 2002 WRX since we got our 06 Prius on 1/13, Poor baby, it is such a great driver for trips to the mountains, desert, or other places far from home. But, we've been doing mostly local driving, and the Prius has just won me

| Bluetooth compatibility | 18 Apr 2006 02:31 GMT | 20 |
I am wondering whether any of you have reports re various phones and their compatibility with the Prius's system? I have to change phones, and am looking at Verizon's Bluetooth-compatible phones. It seems to me that very few of

| When to expect 3rd-generation? | 17 Apr 2006 00:16 GMT | 1 |
The president of Toyota has said they'll offer the 3rd-generation Synergy drive in 2008. This is supposed to be lighter (ergo, better mileage) with better performance, and is supposed to cut the cost differential between their hybrids and conventional cars.

| Pushing Engine Too Hard? | 16 Apr 2006 05:03 GMT | 6 |
There's no rpm guage, and no engine temperature guage (in my '05). So how do I know if I'm pushing the car too hard? We drove from Denver to Glenwood, which involves some serious uphill sections, and I noticed the engine noise getting pretty whiny at times...

| going over bumps... | 16 Apr 2006 02:42 GMT | 14 |
My Prius seems to overreact when it goes over bumps. I frequently get the slippery road symbol, and even when I don't get it, I sometimes feel the car reacting to the bumps. Is this an idiosyncracy of my car, or it is typical of Priuses

| break-in period/mileage | 06 Apr 2006 02:01 GMT | 5 |
I think I have read that the Prius is not fully broken in until 8000 miles. At any rate, now that we are having some warmer weather, I am seeing better mileage than I did last fall--now the norm seems to be in the high 54-55-range (mostly

| prius | 02 Apr 2006 16:35 GMT | 3 |
