2005 Prius bluetooth problems30 Oct 2006 21:50 GMT2
First of all the cell phone is a Samsung A900(Sprint PCS).
The pairing worked fine.  Problem is  transfering your phonebook from
the cell phone to the Prius bluetooth phonebook. From the Prius
bluetooth settings menu you choose transfer.  The display screen then
windshield washer nozzle28 Oct 2006 15:54 GMT1
Does anyone on this list have a solution to the problem of windshield
washer nozzle getting stopped up?  I've always been able to clear them
out on other cars with a pin, but can't get the ones on my 2005 Prius
opened up.

OIl Change26 Oct 2006 20:14 GMT4
I have a new prius and was wondering if these any reason to take it to
the dealer to have the oil changed.  I have always changed the oil in
my cars.  Of course the manual says to use Toyota oil.  Any fact in
this??
New Prius19 Oct 2006 01:15 GMT1
Just received a brand new Prius "T-Spirit" model in the UK last week.
Two immediate questions....
I'm guessing I'd have got the 2006 rather than 2007 spec model.   Is it
clear what changes are coming in Europe for 2007, and when those models come
Computed fuel economy vs. calculated fuel economy12 Oct 2006 22:59 GMT6
As you know if you drive a Prius or have been following this group, it
is difficult to calculate fuel economy accurately with the Prius
because of the bladder in the fuel tank that affects the ability to
fill the tank the same on successive fill-ups.  The only way to get a
Pricing 2k$ over MSRP according to Edmunds TMV?10 Oct 2006 04:34 GMT5
Edmunds.com shows a 'TMV' (actual market price) of $2000 over MSRP
($5000 over invoice) for a 2006 Prius with NL option package (GPS +
SmartKey), does this sound right?
One dealer in N. Calif told me there is a 6 month waiting list of 150
Flat tire experience with my 2005 Prius07 Oct 2006 21:44 GMT10
A couple of days ago I got a flat tire for the first time in many years.
Here's what I found and the lessons I took away:
I was traveling on a six lane highway when I noticed a loud flapping noise.
At first I thought it was not my car, but possibly a loud muffler from a
injector failure.....05 Oct 2006 21:19 GMT3
Hi!,
I have this week had a #4 injector failure in my 2004 Prius. The dealer said
it was due to a seam in the windshield deck gasket dripping water onto the
injector. Has anybody else had this problem? Should it be covered by my
Engine coolant drain location05 Oct 2006 13:43 GMT1
Time for me to catch up with maintenance on my new-to-me 2002. At 103K miles
there was no record of the last coolant change, so I got coolant yesterday.
Today I got the inverter done - incredibly easy, actually. I wanted to do
the engine coolant, but I couldn't locate the block ...
Deviaton ODO meter05 Oct 2006 01:59 GMT20
I noticed a deviation of the ODO meter (NOT the speed...).
Actually, 1 mile on the ODO meter is in reality 1.0465 miles.
I did the measurements more than once and always find the same deviation
(between 4 and 5%).
Re: Hills and Gas Mileage03 Oct 2006 03:55 GMT6
From many years ago, I remember reading that the best mileage for
highway driving could be obtained by speeding up with moderate throttle on
downgrades and then slowing up using trailing throttle on the upgrades. This
was explained, quite untechnically, that the car can better ...
