Location of Fuse Box01 Aug 2007 00:35 GMT1
I have an '07 Prius an I'm trying to locate the fuse for the power
converter (the receptacle for the cigarette lighter) located by the
glove compartment.  I could not find any mention of it in the fuse box
located under the hood.  The manual identifies a fuse in a second fuse
EV Button Experience25 Jul 2007 21:30 GMT4
I'm intrigued by the EV button and I'd like to install one on my '06.
Has anybody installed this button?
I'd like to cruise in and out of the subdivision using all EV since
the speeds are so low.

Prius at 100MPH?19 Jul 2007 20:11 GMT4
I just saw that Al Gore's son was pulled over for driving his Prius at
100MPH. Is this possible? I have a Prius (2007 version)  and have the
impression it would be working hard to get up to 90!
Has anyone heard of a Prius going at 100 before?
Prius vs. Honda Fit18 Jul 2007 13:16 GMT45
Our daughter bought a Honda Fit, which seems to be a high
quality car. Compared to my '04 Prius, it has less interior
space behind the passengers (mitigated by the remarkable folding
seat scheme) but the cars are otherwise comparable. The fit has

A surge in the production of biofuels derived from corn, wheat and
soyabeans is helping to push up food prices so sharply that the World
Food Programme, the United Nation's agency in charge of fighting
famine, is finding it difficult to feed as many hungry people as it
DRL13 Jul 2007 02:00 GMT2
Do the DRLs (daytime running lights) on the '07 Prius shut off when
the car is parked but "running"?  My '07 VW Passat's DRLs shut off
when the transmission is in Park and I apply the emergency brake
and the engine is idling.  One does not require the DLRs when
Toyota Camry Hybrid or Prius????07 Jul 2007 23:02 GMT23
I am looking at purchasing a TCH or Prius.
My new commute will be approximately 55 miles one-way, with the
longest stretch of highway being 35 miles of the 55 miles.
I would really appreciate any feedback, insight, advice (price,
POLL: Will public awareness of a 50 mpg car that can go 100 mph help Prius sales?06 Jul 2007 15:15 GMT2
Many people assume the Prius is slow. Gore's kid may have
inadvertently helped address Global Warming issues.
solar cell battery charger02 Jul 2007 21:32 GMT5
I've seen advertised a solar cell that might be spread under the
windshield which is a car battery charger that plugs into the
cigarette lighter socket.  Anyone use one of these and does a mileage
increase register?
