Software Issues30 Jan 2008 23:49 GMT7
Are owners still having problems with the software or has Toyota fixed that?
I have read where the programming pretty much would shut down the vehicle.
Also, are there any issues with the generators that are used for braking?
Thanks!
Low rolling resitance tires - how long will they last?26 Jan 2008 16:29 GMT10
My 2007 Prius is nearing 45K miles. It appears the tires are still at
about half the tread. Would you consider this normal wear? When you guys
with more miles on in had to change tires, at what mileage point did you
do it?

Some more questions by a new Prius owner19 Jan 2008 23:42 GMT15
After longly wanting a Prius for several years and waiting for my old
car to die on me, my old car lost its usefulness to me last week. So
this past Thursday, I bought a new 2008 Prius with package #2 and I am
happy with it, although I have only driven it 175 miles so far.
Prius Electrical System16 Jan 2008 16:44 GMT10
Here's a thought...

I have an 04 Passat that gives me around 30MPG. I'm pissed off at VW and
want to deal with a more reputable company, as well as improve my MPG.  I
can't decide between the Camry Hybrid or the Prius. Any words of wisdom?  I
don't commute far. Thanks in advance.

Tips for a "newbie" owner??10 Jan 2008 13:08 GMT14
Wife just got a phone call....she had bought one  $25 raffle ticket a

with all the options in the touring package.
Haven't picked it up yet, but was reading some information and it
User rebuilt battery07 Jan 2008 03:19 GMT2
As a refreshing change of pace, there are two known examples of NHW11,
2001-03, battery packs being rebuilt. The first is in Europe by Florian
Steiper in Germany and a collaborative effort between Eric and myself:

AM radio reception:05 Jan 2008 21:12 GMT1
I have a 2004 Prius and the AM radio reception seems to be getting worse.
It was never great but now it varies from statically acceptable to
unlistenable.  At first I thought it might be due to cell phone tower or
other interferences, but after talking to a friend with 2007 Prius ...
