My '04, purchased in late '03, has about 52k miles on it
and has averaged about 43mpg since new - less in winter,
more in summer. I'm in S Calif, so "winter" is a period
on the calendar rather than a season. 90% of the time

Spurred on by my miserable MPGs every time my car has gone in
for scheduled maintenance, and its failure to even recover
from that the last time, I decided to tape a note to my
steering wheel re the amount of oil, tire pressure, etc. I

Has anyone had their HYBRID icon stolen (it's on both sides in front
of the front doors)? We had one side stolen and it appears someone
tried to steal the other side but only got the H. At first we only saw
the H gone and thought it was a joke because of the Lexus hybrid

This sucker started going dead on my 2001 if I didn't use the car for
more than a day or so. It just apparently lost capacity over 7 years
and couldn't keep up with the theft deterrent and other "off use"
electronics. So I had to pay $335.37 to Toyota for a replacement. Nice
