Help! can't get tire off11 Sep 2003 23:27 GMT8
I over tighten the front aluminum mag wheel on my 1991 toyota 4-runner
and can't get it off. I never seen one this bad. I have been hitting
the inside with a rubber mallet as well as shakking it from side to
side. It still won't budge.
electrical failure?11 Sep 2003 22:29 GMT1
Hey gang,
After 271,000 miles on my '86 4WD pickup I finally have a problem I didn't
cause myself (I think).  Two days ago the truck started right up and ran
fine...the next morning, the battery was totally dead.   Nothing was left on
Tundra V8 coolant change11 Sep 2003 21:49 GMT4
I am going to do a 30000 service and it calls for a coolant change. Best

2003 Tundra electric brake harness11 Sep 2003 20:58 GMT1
My electric brake controller has 4 wires - red, white, blue and black.  The
harness that came with my Tundra has two large wires: black-red, and red.
It has three smaller wires:  Green, green-white, and brown.  How do these 4
controller wires attach to these 5 Tundra harness wires?

Hi Group,
I've lurked here a lot, but what I'm really looking for is a group or
site that caters to Toyota Hilux pickups.
No disrespect, but this North American Tacoma and 4Runner-dominated
Uneven compression11 Sep 2003 05:57 GMT5
Hi all...
I have a 1994 pickup with a 22RE with 85,000 miles on it.
I did a compession check and 3 cylinders showed about 180 PSI, and 1
showed about 145. I added some oil the the weak one, and it also got
Headers for 2003 Tundra11 Sep 2003 05:40 GMT6
I've been searching the aftermarket vendors for a nice set of headers for my
4x4.
So far, TRD has nothing for this application.  (I understand that the 2002s
won't fit.)  They're ridiculously overpriced anyway - especially for
Tundra T311 Sep 2003 05:35 GMT9
I just saw one of these at the local dealership.  What is the big advantage
over the regular Tundra's?  Some people are saying that it has more HP's and
tourque, for the life of me I can't find any specs for this model and they
didn't even have a sticker on the vehicle at the ...
Sequoia overhead console11 Sep 2003 05:29 GMT4
We have a 2003 SR5 with a very long overhead console.  I would like to add a
DVD for my daughter, but the local stereo guy suggests going with headrest
displays - since the console is too long to install an overhead display.  I
had thought about buying the small overhead console ...
Gas Line Question11 Sep 2003 02:33 GMT3
What are the two lines off the gas tank for? Not the high pressure lines. I
had a leak and gas was leaking out.
Thanks
Trans. fluid in 03' 4x4 Tacoma11 Sep 2003 02:24 GMT11
I went to change the transmission fluid in my 4x4 automatic Tacoma and
in the book it says to use Toyota T-IV fluid or the equivalent.  I got
some Mobil-1 full synthetic ATF and figured it would be alright.
Anybody know what the T-IV fluid is and if the Mobil will be ok in
4Runner transmission clunk and lurch10 Sep 2003 23:30 GMT2
I have a 1997 4Runner SR5 2WD.  As of the past few months, I've been
experiencing an odd problem.  At times, especially when cold, when I put the
truck in any forward gear, when I push the accelerator, the truck does not
more, the engine seems to race under load.  I push the ...
