Have been putting this off for too long. My truck has the popular vibration that so many other early Tundra owners experience. Mine feels to be confined to the front only. Feels fine cold, but after two or three blocks is noticeable and on the highway can be nearly hazardous.

My 18 year old son is trying to talk me into putting a K&N airfilter into my 1996 six cylinder non-turbo/stock Landcruiser. I'm wondering if it will really help or not. The stock air filter is pretty big which I equate to being able to provide a good deal of airflow.

Last week I bought a 1998 Tacoma Prerunner with 115000 miles. Took it for emission testing. Hydrocaron and Carbon-monoxide readings were measured as 0 (zero). Of course, it is not really zero, it is beyond the detection limts of the instrument.
