02 Tacoma: Noisy rotor backing plates03 Apr 2004 05:23 GMT4
Truck's got 25k miles, so what I'm about to mention will be under warranty.
But, I like to have some knowledge and be a step ahead of the dealership
mechanics before I get there.
About two weeks ago, I noticed a thin metallic sound from the front end
What about Service Manuals?03 Apr 2004 05:12 GMT9
Yeah, where do you go to get a reasonably priced, legitimate Toyota sevice
manual. I've heard Chilton's version is inaccurate. I've already gone the
eBay route- got a dual set of CDs that seemed to be the real deal, but

My 93 4Runner is coming up on 180K miles.  I'll need to replace the Timing
belt soon, at the same time, I want to replace the oil pump.  I've been
noticing that the oil pressure has been lower than normal.  I've read a few
post on the subject recently.

I just found out the steering damper is leaking and the free play of
steering wheel increases. I plan to replace it this weekend. But, I do
not see the replacement procedure in my FSM and Chilton manual. Dealer
said this is the only part will leak in the fron steering linkage. How
1994 4 Runner 4 Sale. Engine is shot.01 Apr 2004 06:17 GMT1
As above, body in fair shape. Dent in rear door and bumper. Otherwise
working well. Best offer takes it; towing is your responsibility.
