I'm thinking about purchasing a Landcuiser78 in Australia and having it
shipped back to the US.  Does anyone have any ideas as to why I should
NOT do this?  For example, parts for the Turbo Diesel engine being hard
to come by in the US or parts for the truck itself?

Consumer Report says the engine is no good. I bought one new and have
had no problems. What should I Iook for? CU usually loves toyotas, what
gives?

I need to get a toyota 5 speed for a conversion kit. The 2 wheel drive
4 cyln.
compact pickups from 1990 to 1995 have the tranny I need. Does anyone
know what the 5th gear ratio is on these?

If you should have an opinion for Tacoma Regular Cab (2002) transmission
stick, please share you comments.
