The fuel mileage gage in my '03 4Runner is consistently 2-3 miles off. It tends to be more accurate in long trip, only off by 1 MPG. But around town, it always off by 2-3 MPG. Do you experience te same thing. Made me feel good until I find out though.

I own a '89 Yota with a 22RE and I want to adjust my valves on Saturday. My truck has 213k miles on her and I just want to do this to put my mind at ease. I have my Chiltons and was wondering if there was anything else I should worry about. Any input is appreciated.

In my search for information regarding 04 Tundras, it has been published on quite a few of the "price estimate" sites that the passenger side air bag on the 04 Tundra double cab can be switched off. A salesman at a dealership told me no. Who's right?

I have 1993 4X4 pick up with airbag helpers in the rear. This raises up the rear end when the bed is empty. Which way does one adjust the shackle on the load sensing rod to get the rear brakes to work when there is no load in the bed?

What's the opinion of people on this? Anyone know if it is bad for the transmission to manually downshift into lower gears? I like to do this when coming to a stop, but someone told me he did this with a Camry, and he wrecked the tranny.
