I have a 2000 Tacoma Pre-Runner with about 38K for miles.  Today as I
was ready to leave work, the truck started as normal.  As soon as I

Has anyone experienced what feels like a shimmy coming from the rear
end when taking off at low to medium speeds? It feels like it is the
rear end or somewhere along the rear part of the drivetrain. Any hints

The book shows doing this with a spring tensionometer. I went to 2 auto
parts stores and nobody every heard of such a tool and couldn't find it
in the catalog. Is there another way to do this like the old way of
tightening then loostening 1/4 turn?

whats the easiest/best way to get a tach on a 96 tacoma? v6 model, not and
sr5 tho.
