| 03 Tundra Check Engine Light | 01 Sep 2004 00:50 GMT | 6 |
Dealer says it is due to "out of round" gas filler tube. They're ordering a replacement. Why, after 9200 miles, did this out of round tube just start causing codes? Any one else had this problem or diagnosis?

I'm interested in buying a set of used wheels and tires for my 98 Tacoma. Preferably alloys, not steel. Close to Maryland would be best. Respond to skougoures@netscape.net

| Tfr case stuck in 4x4 | 30 Aug 2004 07:51 GMT | 5 |
98 Tacoma manual hubs transfer case is stuck in 4x4. Shifting through gears does nothing to alleviate the problem. what is wrong? (glad it has manual hubs!)

| 91 4Runner with Automatic | 30 Aug 2004 03:39 GMT | 1 |
4Runner, v6 automatic, floor mounted gear selector feels really sloppy / loose. Anyone had this problem? Anyone fixed it? Shifting action itself (mechanical operation of the tranny) is fine, it's just the action of the lever.

| Wattage of factory speakers (2000 Tundra) | 29 Aug 2004 21:38 GMT | 2 |
I'm replacing the stock Cassette/CD unit with a Sony Xplod. I can't find what the wattage is of the stock door speakers (I have the AM/FM/C/Cassette and 4 speakers in an Xtra Cab.) Eventually I'll replace them, but for now I just want to make sure it can handle 50 W per channel.

| 22RE Timing Chain Question | 29 Aug 2004 17:52 GMT | 1 |
Before I put another 22re in my 4runner, I'd like to put a double timing chain/gears on it. The engine is an 85. Can i go into the auto parts store and tell them I have a '78 Hi-lux pickup with a 20R and get the double timing chain that way and have the thing fit? Will this year ...

| Installing buckets in a Tacoma | 29 Aug 2004 04:15 GMT | 1 |
I'm swapping out my bench for 2 buckets but there are only 3 holes. What kind of safety issues am I facing if I install the seats with just 3 bolts? Is the only other solution to drill a hole for the 4th bolt? It's a little odd; there's a metal knockout-like plug where the

I want to convert my 87 auto 4runner into a stick. I have an 85 truck and I wonder if the tranny and transfer case from the 85 straight axle truck will fit in the 87 or must I change out the axle too?

| Comparing Tacoma and Nissan Frontier | 28 Aug 2004 04:38 GMT | 3 |
I had an 84 Xtra Cab deluxe and now a '93. I went shopping yesterday for a new one as I don't want the bigger one coming out next year. I wasn't very impressed. The handling doesn't seem as good as my '93 and mot much has changed otherwise. Seems to be the same shitty bucket
